Decal Setting Solution-Micro Scale Micro Sol 102 + Micro Set 101 Package Decal

I used to hate waterslide decals until I started using these products. I can wholeheartedly recommend them even if you don’t consider yourself a serious modeler.

Works really well but I would recommend watching a few videos on how to use it first for the novist

great products and must have for all modelers from cars, military air craft and model trains....great for putting those final touches on decals...

Its hard for me to imagine how you would get transfers to sit down on curved surfaces without these.

This stuff works really good. It softens the decals for uneven surfaces. Made the Gung-Ho decal so easy to do.

The rating is for the vendor, who sent the product quickly. The product, it turn out, is also very good--have used it for a long time.

How I wish I had access to these when I was younger and attempting waterslide decals. I thought that decals were just cruel jokes. While smelling terrible, however, Micro Set and Micro Sol took a lot of headache out of working with decals. They actually conform to the resin model Im working with. I cant recommend this set enough.

For being the first time using these products, they worked rather well. The one solution, Micro set if I remember correct, allows you time to properly set the decal. After dry, close thereof, apply the Micro sol like the instructions say along with instructions for Micro set, apply the Micro Sol. Leaving it alone providing that the decal is where you want it, The Micro Sol dries, COMPLETELY dry dont touch, all the detail comes thru giving it a more realistic look to it. For the first time using these products, they did the job.

I preface by stating Im just a beginner or starter builder for gundam/gunpla. Some decals are just pure madness in the curves and wraps that need to be done, think circles and angled arc circle slides. This product will work, but it just doesnt hold that well and I still see silvering, almost everywhere, and thats for primed, painted and sealed and relatively flat surfaces. I switched over to Mr. Mark Softer and Setter, and it really is night and day. Decals really do stick and wrap surfaces, maybe even too well. I know, Im being harsh, this product will work and the price is excellent, but if you can spend more, go for Mark, its just easier overall, especially when your model has like @100+ decals...
