Defender Square Tarp - Waterproof, Durable and Versatile Nylon Tarp Tent Shelter, 10 by 10 ft, True Terrain Camo

I enjoy the quality and the range of versatility that this tarp offers. As already mentioned in numerous reviews this tarp is thick, its tough, the stitching throughout assures that this tarp can perform and not easily fail. My use is for a hammock fly, tent fly, tent awning, quick rain shelter, wind break, and whatever uses I am able to think of for a tarp aside from uses in landscaping :-)

Great tarp I got the 10’x10’

These tarps are the gold standard. Excellent quality.

Its a bit heavier than many other tarps the same size but it is strong, 100% leak proof and has many guy out hoops, allowing many set ups. I have used mine awhile now and love it.

Nothing more to say, and the last tarp I’ll buy for camping. The quality and durability is beyond expectations.

I haven’t used it yet, but it seems to be extremely well built and rugged. I’m very pleased with the purchase. A little expensive/overpriced, but I’ve learned the hard way the wisdom of “buy once, cry once”

I have used this tarp for about 6 months now. I am always impressed by the quality. It doesnt have the metal grommets to rust and fall out over time, but has sewn in nylon tie points - and plenty of them. Reinforced at the ridgeline. It is borderline for backpacking as it weights in at about three pounds. I would definitely recommend. I used it to cover my trucks sunroof (leaks) during a tropical storm and not a drop of water got in and the tarp held up perfectly. I guess you get what you pay for as it is a little pricey!

Bought the Defender since its supposed to be the heaviest duty tarp out there. I dont know if these are overrated or if I just got a bad one from lack of quality control, but I went to pitch the tarp in my sunny, 100% grass backyard only to see holes in the tarp. 1 star and waste of time.

Excellent overall tarp. Well made with an abundance of loops for various setup options.

We bought for camping and have used it twice. Great size. All of the loops make it very versatile. Waterproofing seems to be spot on. Looking forward to being able to use it for years to come.
