This laptop is ok for basic computer needs - mine didnt come with backlit keyboard or touch screen. The keypad buttons are small, flat not raised and a different layout which makes it hard to tell which keys are what. Which I dont really like - I have to keep looking at the keys to see what to press. For example the delete and power button is real small up top with the F-key functions. And I dont like the S mode it came in - it will only let you use Microsoft edge and not let you download any other browsers and a lot of the admin functions are disabled with S mode so you cant make any changes to customize what you want on the computer. Cant say Im a fan based on other Dell laptops Ive had they keyboard alone is annoying.

I’m really disappointed at how sluggish this thing is. Even after removing all the bloatware (and good grief…why are we still doing this?). Spend the extra money to go a step up. I can’t figure out what’s even using up all the CPU processor, but it’s almost always running at 100%. I’ll be saving up for something better. I suggest you do the same.

Bought it solely for the purposes of livestreaming classes. It worked, but very slow and the the left side of the mouse didnt work well. After 60 days the hard drive fried, just outside of the refund period. I will never buy a laptop through Amazon from a third-party seller ever again. If I want a Dell, Im going to Dell. This is the second laptop bought through Amazon that this has happened.

I use it for general use but I would not buy a Dell again Support told me that it is a software issue that is not covered by my warranty. That is unacceptable- I just purchased it in October--5 months ago!

Personal use. Microsoft has not made it easy to start it up.
