> 3 dayGot the lap top for my husband. We always bought Dell. My husband loved it. I had bought a cheap HP with hardley any storedge. My husband did not like the HP. It would of cost more $$$$ to repair his 17 and get all the new software that is needed. The new one is so so much lighter and what he does with the lap top has so much storedge and memory hell never run out.

> 3 dayIve had Dell PCs for years, and loved them. A few years ago I bought a Lenovo mostly due to the price. It was functional at best and finally gave up the ghost a month ago. I bought another Lenovo because it was on sale. It toasted on the first try set up, but second go round worked. Needless to say that was only the beginning of the problems. It was slowwwww, ofen crashed, shut off or stopped responding. It lasted a month before it would no longer even boot. I decided not to even mess with it and returned to an old friend. My new Dell is the perfect companion; fast, easy to use, consistent and reliable.

> 3 dayThis computer is very slow. I took it to a local computer shop thinking that I got a virus and the technician opened it up to look at what processor was in it and said that it has a junk processor and there was nothing he could do to improve it. He checked it for a virus anyway and it didnt have one. I have purchased my last Dell and my last computer from Amazon.

> 3 dayThis review is for the Dell 2022 Inspiron 15 Laptop, 15.6 HD Display, Intel Celeron N4020 Processor, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB PCIe SSD. The laptop arrives with Windows 11 installed. As some other reviewers have stated, the laptop is very very slow out of the box, and it does appear that Windows 11 is the cause. I didnt realize this until it arrived and I tried using it, with poor results. Every simple action took a very long time, so I read the reviews and saw that others were reporting slow response times. I decided to see if the speed could be improved by installing Windows 10, and it did. Its not a simple process at all, especially if you are not familiar with how to do it. You basically need to create a USB boot disc with the full Windows 10 installation pack loaded, and perform a clean installation of the hard drive, completely wiping out what comes pre-installed. It took me the better part of two days, but once its done, the system is much more responsive and works with the speed you would assume of a sub-$400 laptop. Is this a good buy? It really depends if you want to go through the hassle of removing Windows 11 from the unit and putting the effort in. Heres a Tip: Be sure to know what drivers you may need, as I struggled with both monitor and wi-fi drivers at some point during the installation process for Windows 10. Good Luck!
