> 3 dayJust got the laptop a month ago. I really love it. Very convenient to use. We even installed Wi-Fi and A Virtual Private Network with it. Now, I dont have to worry about using too much data on my smartphone or waiting to use my desktop PC when I get back home to New York.

> 3 daywe were looking for a lap top, to take with us when we travel, this computer is great!, light weight, large screen, and simple to use. I always loved Dell, and, this fits all of our needs! thanks for a great product

> 3 dayI like this laptop, but for what ever reason if youre not looking pretty much straight down at the key pads, its difficult to seethe letters. Second, it wont recognize my external speakers, which is a real bummer because I love music. Overall its a good laptop it should serve me well for many years.

> 3 dayWhat this is: A super lightweight laptop with a descent set of ports and a workable screen at a fantastic price with the latest Windows version. What its not: a high-end speedster gaming laptop. This is an extremely power efficient, slower processor ensemble that easy to upgrade. Its is tuned by default to super power saver. IMO, that makes it almost unusable in real life. Set the power mode to performance, and it becomes a great media consumption, email, social, writing machine with a good 6 hrs of battery. Oh, there is an open slot to put any 2.5 (7-9mm) laptop drive inside and you can double the RAM memory for about $25. Im buying two more to use as Linux machines. I was hesitant about this at first but very happy in the end.

> 3 dayGoing over the specs I came to realize it wasn’t going to have that much more storage than I already had in my older laptop. So I returned this item.

> 3 dayThe screen separated from the laptop. I saw another review with the same laptop and same sellers but on didnt use my better judgement. Broken. Lesson Learned! Plus they wouldnt give me the correct invoice, which I contacted the seller and amazon on several occasions about, so that I could qualify for the warranty. They mislabeled the product and sent me something I didnt know happened to be incorrect labelled until I contacted Dell directly about another issue which I wanted Dell to fix but the Dell couldnt help me until I had the product in my name which I couldnt get because of once again the invoice. They can keep selling defective products and lets see how long this keeps up. This is taken planned obsolesce to a new level!

> 3 dayThe Dell model 3583 is specified (Dell Specs p.12) with an 8th generation Intel core i3, i5, or i7 CPU. I suspect due to the chip shortage Dell was forced to dive into the ol parts bin and ship this particular 3583 with an older - and MUCH lower specs - Pentium Gold 5th generation CPU with limited cache. To try to compensate, Dell also shipped this unit with a M.2 SSD rather than the specd spinning HDD. That was very good of them. But the mis-match seems to be creating some lag in getting things done, although not critical. I may (probably) be wrong about this, but then Im not a computer whiz. It would be great if Dell eventually tracked this order and in future shipped us a comparable Core i3 CPU with a realistic cache. Hey, I can dream! In addition - 3583 comes specd with Win 10 Home (not S mode). S mode sucks and the time it takes to dump it is a pain. 2cts.

> 3 dayThe laptop sent to me does not have an Ethernet port as described and shown in the images. I require a Ethernet port for my purposes so I will be returning the laptop.
