I got this monitor because I have a 25 monitor that already has thin bezel and wanted a 2nd one so I can use dual screen now that Im working from home. And frankly I saw one review that said that this monitor isnt good for business use, if anything, I would say this would be a good monitor for business use actually. Its IPS so if you move around, the colors wont fade or darken unlike VA/TN screens. Its VESA mount compatible so that means you can also use your existing arm mounts if you have any. But more importantly, it for some reason has FreeSync but only up to 75Hz so it wont be great for competitive gaming but this is still very useful in other features like mouse movements and overall smoothness of high refresh rates (possibly good for some folks eyes). Summary: I would recommend this to anyone that seeks to use this for home working. Its easy to hook up and the UI for calibrating colors isnt that bad compared to other manufacturers. Its very consumer friendly is what Id like to say and compared to what I paid a year ago for a more expensive monitor but less features, Id say this is a decent buy if you can get it sub $130-140. Please note that Im reviewing the S2421H(S) so this one doesnt have speakers. The S2421H does have speakers but this one doesnt have VESA mounting. Pros: + 75Hz/ FreeSync (for those with amd graphics crads) + VESA mounting (allows you to use other stands and articulating arms) but the adjustable stand is already sweet in case you didnt want to drop anymore money on a separate stand + IPS (gives me less headaches than TN/VA, viewing angles are great and this one didnt have significant light bleeding too but Ill also add this as a con since thats inherent in all IPS screens unfortunately) + Has DP 1.2 (this is what you need to use in order to get 75Hz though, you wont get this on your HDMI ports) + Audio line out port (so in lieu of speakers, this monitor gives you this instead if you wanted to connect your headphones to this but in this day and age, I dont think most people will use this port) Cons: - IPS panels will bleed light in some capacity and it sucks but Dell has a better panel lottery than other manufactures in my opinion - only HDMI cable included, no DP cable - out of the box, the monitor will need to be calibrated, it was a bit too yellow/orange for my taste so youll need to work on the color science a bit

Dells monitor assembly process is just so intuitive at this point that I cant fault them on their design choice or construction quality whatsoever. This monitor is no exception as it clicks into the base mount and is ready to go within seconds out of the box. For business use this is a perfect monitor for deployment as all staff members would be able to set it up easily. The finish on the monitors back and the mount feels premium even though this is a budget monitor. It would pair well with mac devices or the dell xps line of computers. The display itself is fairly vivid and has wide viewing angles thanks to the ips panel underneath. Windows defaulted to 8 bit colors and 1080p @ 75hz out of the box using freesync mode. No overclockable modes listed or tested. This is just a great monitor for the price though and thanks to the adjustable mount perfect for nearly all users. Will update if the monitor fails at any point.

Like the size, it is able to swivel front, back and side to side. however the height adjustment is minimal. Only takes up a small amount of space on my desk. And it is a very affordable monitor

This monitor is fantastic. It looks great on the desk and the super thin bezel gives it a nice, clean look. The dual inputs with HDMI/Displayport make for great compatibility when hooking it up to your PC (or game system with HDMI, although there are no built-in speakers). The stand is adjustable and the monitor rotates as well if you need that. The adjustable stand is an amazing feature and usually only included in higher-end models. Since the monitor has a sleek design, it doesnt take up much space on the desk either. Im very happy with this monitor and would have no qualms about recommending it to a friend or family member.

Got this as I needed a 2nd smaller monitor for my home office. So easy to get setup and it’s perfect. It is a matte finish and did notice more glare from the window- but it’s minimal and was an easy to tilt and resolve.

I am an application developer (programmer) during the day and a hobbyist photographer with dreams of making it big someday in the photography industry. This monitor is amazing for both. This monitor is both a horizontal and vertical monitor. It works in both orientations and is simple to rotate. I set this up next to my normal (horizontal) monitor in the vertical orientation. It is awesome for web browsing, Microsoft Outlook (or similar email program), Twitter, and portrait photos. Generally, anything where you have long-form scrolling, this works great. I originally thought the bottom bezel with the Dell log was going to bother me when I put it in the vertical position, but it hasnt at all, and I dont even see it anymore. This is a great monitor for vertical tasks and makes a nice wide monitor for horizontal tasks. Overall, I am very pleased with it and recommend it.
