Home office use, but the picture is distressing in that it has bad ghosting about half an hour after being turned on. I have not contacted Dell for a fix as the monitor is about two weeks old, and I did not know if it was temporary or not.

for remote work, great supplement to work laptop. in addition, excellent viewing for youtube or other video offerings.

One thing to be aware of with these monitors is that they do not have the Vesa mounting that most other Dell monitors have.

Bought this monitor used like new from this seller : ❤️️⁡⁢ ⁡⁢OnlinEmart⁡⁢ ⁡⁢ (We record SN). Because it was used, I was expecting a few minor scuffs. However, upon setting up the monitor and turning it on, it was clear that there was damage to the internal hardware as the display was not functioning correctly. (see pictures) I am highly disappointed as I bought this as a gift for my mother who works remotely.

The monitor started blanking out within 40 days of purchase every 2 seconds and would not stop. I changed the cable, diagnosed the dell laptop, checked all settings, and updated the driver, but nothing helped. I called dell support, and they went thru an online time-consuming diagnostic that took forever. I gave up as I need a second working monitor urgently. I did not wait for del to replace under warranty which would have taken another 10-15 days. I called Amazon and requested a return even outside 30 days return period. I told them it was a defective unit. They agreed to return with a 20% restocking fee. I told them that since the unit is broken, you can not sell to another customer. Why would you be restocking? I guess 5+ years of Amazon prime membership does not help for a genuine customer concern. I canceled the items with a 20% penalty and ordered a different brand monitor.

I purchased this monitor last week and arrived early. I have to say I am very happy with it. No tools were required to connect the stand to the monitor. It came with an HDMI cable. I spent more time searching for a surge protector than setting it up. When I first connected the monitor to my Windows 10 laptop, the image didnt completely fill the entire 24 inch screen. I panicked. Then I figured I needed to adjust the graphics setting and voila! It worked. The monitor does what I need it to do which is for work only. I will only use it for writing reports/ emails and spreadsheets. So it’s good enough for my needs.

I ordered this monitor to replace a 13 year old Dell monitor that finally died out. I thought 13 years is a good track record, so decided to stick with the Dell brand, and Im glad I did. This desktop monitor is light weight and produces a really clear, crisp display. It was delivered 2 days earlier than expected. Very happy I purchased it. NOTE TO AMAZON: When the monitor was delivered, I noticed one of the tape seals was cut. When I opened the box, it was clear someone opened that end and took out the VGA cable which was supposed to be included. No problem on my end, as I just used the HDMI cable - also included- to get it up and running, But thought you may want to know.

These are great monitors, I bought two for my work at home desk. At this price I am super happy. Wish they had a height adjustable base and came with a VGA cable, but for this price I can get a cable . I have always liked my Dells at work and these are great and exactly as described.

I bought this monitor less than a year ago. It has already failed. I should have gone with a cheaper model if I had thought Id be buying another one already. Very unhappy with durability

Its a good size, easy to connect, bright, clear picture with good color, but it doesnt come with built-in speakers. For those who like to choose their own, thats great, but I feel it should be noted more visibly on Amazons page. For this reason it doesnt get a full 5 stars from me as it required me to purchase a separate soundbar.
