> 3 dayWhats NOT in the box, at least the box shipped to me: The VGA cable and the HDMI cable. Thanks, guys. Ive also never had a new monitor that needed so much adjustment to settings to actually use. I could not actually expand any open application to view it on the screen -- it merely showed in my system tray at the bottom. I finally called Dell support, outsourced to a third party located heaven knows where. I could barely hear the person speaking, and he could barely speak discernable English. I understand that English is not the first language of people working in India or wherever Dell has moved its support (so that it can pay people 12 cents a day), but when youre serving customers in English-speaking countries, a certain fluency and clarity through ones accent would seem to be a prerequisite for hiring. Dell Support could not help me solve the display problems and did not care about the missing parts (told me to call another number, which turned out to be a dead line). I finally gave up and have returned the product for a refund. Got a similar HP monitor, and while I might expect a similar experience if I needed to call HP support, I didnt have that need. Plugged it, played it. The way it should be. Not impressed, Dell.

> 3 dayNice looking and Great field of view! I am using it as a photo frame! Took one start off in Picture quality for slim black out part (visible area) near the slim bezel! I wish the picture filled the entire frame all the way up to the bezel.

> 3 dayThe picture is good quality and the monitor syncs well with my Macbook via an HDMI cord. But there are NO internal speakers and the box only had an HDMI cord, no VGA cord.

> 3 dayMonitor is excellent, but be advised there are no hole to mount to a stand. Found out the hard way after buying a stand up desk.

Greater than one weekI decided to retire my fully working 2006 Dell monitor to upgrade for more screen space and to try HDMI. Its used as an extension monitor for a newer laptop and setup was easy (for me). I turned down the brightness a lot, but thats personal preference. Easy to use, settings easy and intuitive to adjust, works great. No Complaints.

Greater than one weekI used the 27 inch at work and that is why I chose this monitor. I chose the 24 cuz my desk space at home is quite smaller. Perfect. Very happy with the 24. That said. I also wanted to keep my options open for a 2nd monitor. This space would never hold 2 27inch monitors. The HDMI included cable was a nice touch.

> 3 dayThe Dell 23.8 HD monitor is excellent! Real easy to assemble, great clarity and color enhances picture quality. The controls could be a bit more user friendly but adequate. I suppose that would be my one criticism. The price is great. Im biased because Ive only owned Dell products. Dell products are top of the line for me. However, Dells customer service is straight out of hell.
