Delphi AF10043 Mass Air Flow Sensor

This MAF was way cheaper than my local auto parts store and the dealer ship (they wanted a lot more money for a refurbished part) and it was easy to install on my Chevy Silverado truck. My truck passed smog and was exactly what I needed to fix my check engine light. Would recommend if you are getting a Air Flow Check Engine problem on your Chevy vehicle. INFO FOR INSTALLATION - You just have to remove the rubber ring around the old MAF and install it on the new one before replacing it on the vehicle.

Before you guys buy be aware getting warrenty on there product will be very difficult to get any kind of replacement warranty without jumping through a lot of hoops to get it very disappointed. This is a good product I have used for years, but at this time it is now better to go to the auto parts store where you can go back and get a replacement under warranty, I Purchased a mass airflow sensor and try to get warranty after less than a year and did not realize I’d have to go through all this and it’s not worth my time in trouble just to let you know guys it’s a good part but beware

Easy enough to replace the old part and install the new one. It looked exactly like the old part which was a Delpi too. After a short drive, the check engine line disappeared. $35-45 cheaper compared to local automotive store.

Easy to install and at a good price- improved overall performance on my 02 Tahoe Z71

I replaced my MAF in my 04 tahoe a few months ago. I also replaiced fuel injectors, air filter, and even had some seals replaced. Since then I keep getting an intermittent code stating my MAF needs to be replaced. I think I received a faulty one from yall.

Installed and actually lost some gas mileage, about half mile to the gallon. My horsepower and torque have increased as well as throttle response. So I believe it to be making better adjustment to air gas mixture. Old one had brought up codes and could clean wires to get rid of codes but was not improving performance. So if your looking for performance gain this might help. If your looking to improve gas mileage this may not be your answer.

Doesn’t read the same values as the OEM sensor. Get the real thing instead

Check engine light was on and truck began to idle rough and stumble....was told it would cost $300.oo or more to repair.....in a moment of brilliance ...thought I would check Amazon and found this sensor.....installed it.......engine light still on.....and run even worse.....several days later ...engine light went out and truck began to run just like the old days....was told by a GM service manager it probably took several key cycles to turn off the light and talk to the computer....

Had a MAF that responded slow and set off Check Engine Light. Cleaned the old one and inspected it. No issues. Cheaper ones are not a good solution, as they caused more issues than they fixed. This one though, makes the truck come back to life. Better throttle response, and noticeably more power. Combined with new air filter, and throttle body cleaning. Worth it for sure, and Amazon is the cheapest place to find this.
