> 3 dayThe service engine light came on and I couldn’t get it to go off despite several troubleshooting attempts. When I went to replace this sensor I discovered it was exactly the same as the original GM part. I paid nearly half for the part than I would have through a local auto parts store and, so far, I think I solved my problem.

Greater than one weekThis item was an exact fit for my 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500 W/T. My check engine light was diagnosed with a code for a faulty air flow sensor. This unit corrected the problem, and saved me a lot of money buying it through Amazon. Removal of the defective (original) unit and installation of this new unit was very simple. It only requires a regular philips screw driver.

Greater than one weekEasy to replace the old one. Took away most of the cold start issues, however still have some idle problems.

> 3 dayInstalled and actually lost some gas mileage, about half mile to the gallon. My horsepower and torque have increased as well as throttle response. So I believe it to be making better adjustment to air gas mixture. Old one had brought up codes and could clean wires to get rid of codes but was not improving performance. So if your looking for performance gain this might help. If your looking to improve gas mileage this may not be your answer.

> 3 dayThe box arrived with the Delphi part number. You open it to not find any Delphi markings or stamped part numbers. Just a big made in China sticker. We will see how long it lasts. Buyer beware.

> 3 dayItem arrived very quickly and in proper packaging. Despite it not being listed as fitting my 2004 Avalanche Z71, the part number did cover the replacement of the part number on my truck. I was getting P0101 MAF sensor circuit failure, P0171 lean condition on bank one, and P0172 lean condition bank two. I first ended up changing out the intake manifold gasket to eliminate that possibility since it is a known issue with these trucks, and cause the codes I was getting. If your intake gasket has a vacuum leak, your vehicle is getting more air than it thinks it is, causing the ECU to adjust fuel trim levels and resulting in the lean codes. It also will shoot the P0101 MAF code because the computer is reading more air coming in than what the maf is sensing so it triggers the code P0101 meaning that the readings from the maf were out of range for a period of time, usually four seconds, though there are other time ranges as well. Changing the intake gasket only got rid of my P0172 lean bank two code. So I ordered this AF10043 after seeing that the part #s actually crossed. It took all of five minutes to change out. All you need to change these are an 8mm driver or socket, loosen the large hose clamps that attach the intake tube to the throttle body connection, the intake tube to maf connection, and the maf to air box connection. Unplug the maf sensor wire by simply pressing the clip and pulling away from the maf. If you have the double stage clip, there is a small shielding clip that slides over the tab of the maf so it wont accidentally get disconnected. To get the protecting clip off take a small flat head or pick ( I used a transmission line pick tool), get under each side of the tab and it pulls straight up, the clip will actually slide completely off exposing the tab to unhook the maf sensor. All of my CEL codes are now gone thanks to this product. I have verified my maf readings with my Bluetooth obd-II dongle in real time, and all are in proper ranges. I would recommend this product to anyone needing a new maf and I would buy again if I needed to. Thanks,

> 3 dayWatched youtube video - used this item due to OEM credentials - installed new unit on my 2004 Yukon Denali - cleared the fault codes with my $15 scan tool - check engine light eliminated - car runs well (smoother than before). Probably saved a few hundred bucks for 30 mins work - what a deal.

> 3 dayThe sensor didnt have Delphi anywhere on it like my old one and numbers were faded looked like it had been sprayed with MAF cleaner. This doesnt have Delphi stamp on it either if you pay about 100 buck you want the original same as OEM.

> 3 dayExact fit for Chevy suburban, as described. Saved a bunch of bucks by doing myself. Ill save those bucks for something I need a mechanic for. Was a bit tough getting one of the clamps loose but otherwise a cool breeze!

> 3 dayThe fit was perfect and it works well. Some folks have said they had problems and that the part was not delphi. My looked like the delphi part and came in delphi packaging. It seems as study as the original. The part is easy to replace. There are several videos available that show how to replace this. Only a screwdriver was needed. I recommend checking your air filter when replacing this part. It may need replacing too.
