DeoxIT D100L-25C Precision Needle Applicator, More Than A Contact Cleaner, 25 mL, Pack of 1

I purchased this product because I have long since recognized its excellent de-oxidizing properties and have previously used the same product in a spray form. I now needed a larger quantity because it has saved me so many times from disasterous situations where nothing more than a bad or intermittment connection has caused one of my electronic devices from working. I like the long needle applicator and am better able to control exactly where I apply the product. I am always amazed when a failed device comes back to life after just one application of this product. It is now my Go-To solution for any failures that could involve a dirty contact or oxidized contact or something that just plain doesnt work when it should. This has saved me an untold number of hours in trouble shooting time and I would never want to be without this as a first step in trouble shooting appropriate circuits.

Use DeOxit to enhance electric contact to any appliance switch or electrinic device thats making intermitent or deficient electric contact. Flashlights, photo eq., flashes, hot shoes, batteries and battery compartments, cable connectors, etc. The needle applicator lets you can precisely put a drop or two on both surfaces that should make electric contact and presto. It deoxidizes and lubricates switches, contacts or any other part that you suspect may not be making adequate connection. Great for flashlight threads and battery end contacts as well.

I like the control the needle applicator gives to this great DeOxIT product when I dont use their spray. Wonderful product for cleaning and preventive application.

This works great to clean the contacts of connectors, controls and switches; also for computer memory and plug-in cards. I have been using CAIG products for over 25 years, and in my opinion they are the best available.

Ive been using this stuff since the late 1800s in audio pots and switches. Audio guys have commented forever how this stuff lubes and quiets audio slider pots. My findings have always been equally as positive. I put a drop on the pots on my flight sim joystick. They are typically 10k, 90 deg ROM composition pots, doing the typical 5v thing to an A/D converter. They are often miniature pots, smaller traces, likely more prone to dirt/dust/bug poo. As expected, the drop of red stuff smoothed out the response very dramatically. What was a quarter to half volt spike with every movement of the pot became measurably zero spike. Smooth as a baby pots bottom. As smooth as any Hall Effect sensor curve. Heres the new use - I put a drop on the joysticks mechanical cams. Thats typically a machined and/or chrome surfaced cam and ride bearing affair with or without a center detent. I dont want oil or grease on these, they live in a desk mount joystick or in a set of flight pedals, constantly on the floor, being activated by the bottoms of the pilots shoes. I simply cleaned the factory supplied lithium/moly/bear fat grease off the cams and allowed one drop of DeOx to flow onto the cam bearing surface. The carrier disappears via magic pixies and apparently leaves the Business End part of the product on the metal surface. No dust collecting like with grease. The seemingly high price of the little bottle is not a factor. Man cave engineers will likely get 10+ years out of one of these bottles. Youre likely to change hobbies or die before you use up two bottles.

Ever had a battery leak in a device and create a corrosive mess. This is the answer. Want to maintain A/C condenser, automobile or other wiring that is exposed to the elements? This is the answer.

Good stuff. Beware around switch wafers, however.

This and the other deoxit fluids help clear up the crackling from older stereo equipment volume, base and treble controls etc. It is good to use the lubricant afterwards.
