> 24 hourThe key to knowing whether its right for you is to do a little math. DeWalt ships chargers in 1.25A, 2.0A, 4.0A, 8.0A and theres a 12A charger. Anything greater than 4.0A is considered a Fast Charger and will have a built in fan. This one charges any/all ports at 8.0A. Say you just bought a Lawnmower with two big 12.0ah batteries. That kit comes with two 1.25A chargers. Meaning, it will take about 10 hours to fully recharge both batteries. So, this baby will charge both batteries in about 2 hours. Now, if youre not a contractor or dont have a big yard, maybe overnight is OK. The next charger down the line that will charge the big batteries in less than overnight time is the 4.0A. at $89 retail. 2 of these will cost about the same as the 4 port charger. And the new 12A Fast charger is $119 now. Now, I have 4 charging ports taking up just one outlet. I bought mine before the big price hike, so it made sense - even though Im not a contractor.

> 24 hourI always wanted one of these and I was keeping an eye on the price as it would go up and down in conjunction with my local DeWalt dealer. Well everything lined up just right one day and this was available cheaper on Amazon than it was at my DeWalt dealer and I actually had the money to buy it so I did not hesitate. This has been a wonderful charger as I knew it would be. DeWalt is simply great quality!

> 24 hourI’ve got a DeWalt chainsaw. It uses a lot of electricity. But with some spare batteries and this 4 bank charger I don’t run out of juice (as long as I’m on the property).

> 24 hourI use almost cordless tools throughout my day. This thing was a game changer. Super quick charge. I usually plug it in as soon as I get to the jobsite while unloading the rest of my stuff. By the time I’m ready most of not all batteries are ready to go. Can’t say anything for longevity as I’ve only been using it about a month but it gets tossed in and out of the van everyday and no issues so far.

> 24 hourA 4 port rapid charger is a welcome addition to my collection. Unfortunately the design engineers missed the mark in the compatibility with the ToughSystem 2.0 tool boxes. The base of the latch for the charger is tapered while the recieving socket of the toolboxes is a straight. The angled base of the charger interferes with the latching of the charger onto the toolbox. Disappointingly close to a perfect solution.

> 24 hourWall mounting requires very long screws but i coupled this with a tool holder and a battery holder so that I have a nice wall of battery powered tools.

> 24 hourGreat value. I have a single dock fast charger that came with one of my tools but I believe this 4 dock fast charger is faster plus it can charge 4 at the same time. Does not seem to get hot even while charging 4 batteries. My single will get warm. If you use cordless tools for most of your DIY or pro work the ability to charge multiple batteries at the same time is a must. Highly recommend. Havent had this long enough to speak of the ruggedness of it.
