> 3 dayI love my Doxie Pro! I have to admit I was not really expecting it to change my life when I ordered it. I was dissatisfied with my existing scanner being very slow, and thought it would be helpful to have a faster scanner. I let it sit in its box for a couple weeks without even setting it up. Then one day when panicking about how I was going to manage to sort through all of the old family papers I had been burdened with when my mother died, I remembered the Doxie Pro. I am at a point in my life where I am determined to get rid of clutter and establish serene, functional living spaces and workspaces in my home. It has been very overwhelming living with not only my own documents Ive kept over the years, but also documents, journals, creative writing, art., etc. by numerous relatives who have either passed away or do not have a place to store them. Once I hit upon the idea of scanning everything I could with the Doxie Pro and throwing away the original papers, I felt a tremendous sense of relief. It was the solution to an important problem that had been gnawing at me for months. Setting up the Doxie Pro was very easy. The software installed quickly and was intuitive to use. There is a short tutorial that explains everything you need to know. You can scan a set of documents (up to 20 pages) into a pdf very quickly. There is also a separate tray where you can load irregular items such as photos one at a time. You just need to make sure the papers are straight and dont have staples, glitter, glue, etc. The quality of the resulting scans are very good, and its simple to upload them to your cloud storage. I would recommend the Doxie Pro to anyone who is interested in going paper-free, anyone who is the administrator for the estate of a deceased person, and anyone who currently shares living space with paper documents that feel numerous or burdensome to keep.

> 3 dayIve been trying to go paperless at home, but there never seems to be an end to contracts, bills, invoices, etc. that still come in paper form (and I need to keep a copy of) despite all my efforts to choose electronic delivery. I had a portable scanner before but it only fed one sheet at a time and sometimes would go in crooked so I had to redo the same page over and over again. Taking pictures with my phone was just as tedious for multipage documents and trying to stitch them together. The Doxie Pro arrived with a stack of papers I needed to scan (and have been dreading). The unit was incredibly easy to set up. Not many steps and the one page of instructions were super simple. I installed the software on an M1 Mac Mini and it recognized the device without a hitch. (Nice touch that the scanner arrived with cables for both a USB A and USB C connection to the computer.) The scanner is pretty quick (especially compared to a portable scanner) and scans both sides automatically. It also took a small stack of papers (5-10 pages at a time -- I didnt have any longer documents) easily, even when those documents had a pretty significant fold in them from the mail. The scans were clear and didnt need to be adjusted or cropped. This is my second Doxie so I knew I liked the software and it continued to perform well. Many devices just dont have great Mac support and though theres nothing fancy about the Doxie software, it did reliably work and was straightforward to understand. Set up took a total of 3 minutes and going through a stack of papers, naming them, and organizing them in my online storage took another 15 minutes. I was actually looking for more papers to scan when I was done because I couldnt believe it went by so quickly. And when I was done, really easy to unplug everything and reclaim the space next to my computer. Im almost waiting for another stack of papers to pile up to scan again. :/

> 3 dayI absolutely love this scanner. I owned one of the original Doxie scanners, and am thrilled to have the newer model. This scanner can copy a lot of pages (up to 20) back-to-back and very quickly. The OCR function enables me to read data into Word and Excel. This function alone has saved me days of work on some of my projects. The newest model has a much improved and seamless installation process, a very useful special feed for items that are of unusual size or thickness, and a very sturdy construction. What I really love is that it can outpace all the other scanners Ive had for productivity, but it has such a small footprint that it takes up very little real estate on my desk. I highly recommend it!

> 3 dayIm very happy with my Doxie Pro scanner. Ive been scanning documents and photos of different sizes and its worked great. The scanner and compact, the scans are clear, and the software is configurable and easy to use. There are a couple of quirks, however. Occasionally when I push the scan button, nothing happens. This is easily corrected by unplugging the scanner and plugging it back in. The other issue I have is that scanned documents, not photos, display very large when the file is opened - typically between about 150% and 350%. Im not sure if this is a setting that I havent found, its intentional, or a bug. I am able to change the size to 100% in the settings for the document and it usually sticks after saving. These are not major issues for me, just annoyances. I still love the scanner and use it almost every day.

> 3 dayThis is one of the best scanners Ive owned. The setup process is dead simple, it leads you through the hardware setup and your first scan. Scans are super-fast. The single document scanner handles thick paper and cards well. This is a great and easy to use scanner.

> 3 dayThis is our third Doxie scanner; all are still in the family and working well. Setup is very simple, with online assistance and a quick-reference card for getting started. The automatic document feeder is a nice addition, and the software “staples” a pile of scanned documents automatically, and you can unstaple them, rearrange the order, remove unwanted scans, etc. This model only works when connected to a computer. I consider that a feature. It scans directly to the Doxie app. It was a nice touch to have cables included for old-style USB and USB-C.

> 3 dayI would give this ten stars if I could! Doxie is leading the way not only in scanners but customer service. The expectation you have from companies, especially the bigger or big tech ones, about their customer service usually disappoints. Doxie well exceeds this expectation. I am always blown away by the communication and support from this company. The Doxie Pro changed my life. I have had piles of papers for years, and it kept accruing. I have used many scanners, CZUR, etc., and Doxie always delivers. The Doxie Go was my first experience with this company and product (recommend that for small amounts of paper and on-the-go scanning), but the Doxie Pro is incredible. The amount of R&D Doxie did for this new product shows. The scanning is seamless and quick. The feeding is perfect, and multiple features have unlimited benefits. Add to cart!
