I recently received the new Doxie Pro DX400 and absolutely love the ease of use and the simplicity of not only the machine, but the software as well . Starting with opening of the box along with the setting up of the Doxie Pro DX400, the instructions are clear and easy to understand. This scanner can be utilized by both Mac and PC and comes with everything needed for a smooth operation. The software that is downloaded is user friendly and easy to follow. The step by step instructions along with the picture/videos keep the operation simple and hassle free. I use my Doxie Pro DX400 for everything from receipts to documents as well as artwork done by my grandchildren! Best of all is the A+ customer service. Any questions are answered quickly and the support is top notch! I definitely recommend the Doxie Pro DX400 scanner for any and all scanning.

Ive been trying to go paperless at home, but there never seems to be an end to contracts, bills, invoices, etc. that still come in paper form (and I need to keep a copy of) despite all my efforts to choose electronic delivery. I had a portable scanner before but it only fed one sheet at a time and sometimes would go in crooked so I had to redo the same page over and over again. Taking pictures with my phone was just as tedious for multipage documents and trying to stitch them together. The Doxie Pro arrived with a stack of papers I needed to scan (and have been dreading). The unit was incredibly easy to set up. Not many steps and the one page of instructions were super simple. I installed the software on an M1 Mac Mini and it recognized the device without a hitch. (Nice touch that the scanner arrived with cables for both a USB A and USB C connection to the computer.) The scanner is pretty quick (especially compared to a portable scanner) and scans both sides automatically. It also took a small stack of papers (5-10 pages at a time -- I didnt have any longer documents) easily, even when those documents had a pretty significant fold in them from the mail. The scans were clear and didnt need to be adjusted or cropped. This is my second Doxie so I knew I liked the software and it continued to perform well. Many devices just dont have great Mac support and though theres nothing fancy about the Doxie software, it did reliably work and was straightforward to understand. Set up took a total of 3 minutes and going through a stack of papers, naming them, and organizing them in my online storage took another 15 minutes. I was actually looking for more papers to scan when I was done because I couldnt believe it went by so quickly. And when I was done, really easy to unplug everything and reclaim the space next to my computer. Im almost waiting for another stack of papers to pile up to scan again. :/

The Doxie Pro is the third Doxie scanner Ive owned in the past decade and is by far the most flexible and feature-filled. It takes seconds to scan a stack of papers into Evernote, for example. I just run them through the document feeder and it automatically determines if individual pages are single- or double-sided, black and white or color, then staples them together in a pdf. Then its one click to send them to Evernote (or wherever you want to store your docs). The software is intuitive and has a very clear look & feel. The other feature I love is the direct feeder for thicker paper, photos or business cards. Instead of feeding from the front and coming out the back, it feeds in the front and comes out the front, so you can put it at the edge of your desk and not lose papers out the back. The portability, the feeders, the software and Doxies terrific customer service make this scanner an excellent choice.

Super easy to install and use. Anyone can set this up. Love this thing! The customer service is excellent as well. I cant ask for anything more from this company. You wont go wrong with this little scanner!

My prior experience with scanners had been with those included in all-in-one machines. The comparison between that scanner and the DoxiePro would be the same as a 2 year olds water color vs. a Van Gogh painting. I was set up in under 5 minutes - plug and play. The software is great, intuitive. LOVE the 20 page capacity auto feeder that automatically scans BOTH sides of the paper FAST! Also has a great direct feed slot for pictures, business cards, etc. Whats awesome about this is that when you scan a picture, it scans only the picture, NOT like on a flatbed where is scans the 8x11 field, and you then have to go in a crop the crap out of it. And the auto adjust features are spot on. Also, you dont have to scan and save each file/photo one at a time. If you have 50 things to scan, you can scan them all, and they will be held on the Doxie software until you go in there and decide to organize them by saving them into their final destination - which can be a harddrive, cloud, etc. I was tired of looking at the same box of over 1,000 pictures for 11 years after a relative passed and left them to me. It took me a few hours because you do have do the photos one at a time, but I banged them all out and am now clutter free. This scanner is awesome. I did suggest to their CEO (yes, the CEO) when he called me for feedback, that it would be nice if the Pro version had an SD card slot, but he brought up a good point, that the the quality may be not be as good by default. So if having to be hooked up to a computer is the worst thing about this, I am fine with that. BUY THIS!

I spent several weeks researching reliable, affordable, easy to use scanners. I wanted a duplex scanner that could do both documents and pictures. Looked at Epson, Cannon, Brother, Fujistsu... Ultimately decided to try this one and several hundred scans later I am so happy I did!! Heres what I love about it - 1) Machine is super compact - it really is tiny and doesnt take up much space 2) Installation was super simple - it was really easy to set up. Materials are clear and packaging was super very minimal. Compatible with PC. 3) LOVE the software - comes with software that is super simple to navigate. Software is smart and removes empty pages on document scans which I LOOOOOOOVE. Software care store continually, save on network or email 4) Feeder works - automatic paper feeder works. After several hundred scans (possibly a thousand) there was one time it mis-fed and the paper was folded. 5) Like supporting small thoughtful business - you can tell these folks care about what they do and their employees. Even marketing materials reflect inclusive principles and that matters to me as a consumer. 6)Comes with 1 year warranty - vs 30 days on all other machines 7) Scan quality is excellent! It really was worth it. Its one of the best purchases Ive made in a while. Stop searching and get this one. You wont be sorry!
