Greater than one weekThe software is seamless on my Mac. So much easier than any snap scan software I’ve tried. It’s fast and has options for getting exactly what you’re looking for out of a scan. I just had to scan 200+ contracts and it was actually fun. The Doxie team reached out almost immediately after purchase to check on my satisfaction of purchase. I had already bought the case but they sent me some photo sheets as a gift. I’m def a fan and have already mentioned and recommended it to other coordinators on set. Worth the buy.

> 3 dayI needed a scanner to upload receipts for my business. The feature I love the most is the ability to scan multiple different documents, rename them quickly and save them to different folders. Way faster than my printer scanner. I definitely recommend this device.

> 3 dayIve been using Doxie scanners for about 10 years, scanning Receipts, important documents, archiving photos, etc. I needed this one due to several large scanning projects, and anticipating scanning in old educational resources that arent digitized to use the OCR to digitize them easier. Pros: This scanner has performed to my expectations; is a small size, scanning is effortless, and can scan both sides fast. Occasionally it will jam, but its easy enough to unjam it and complete the scan. Id estimate that it jammed once every 300 pages; but would probably have done less had the scanned paper been in better shape. The software ive loved for years; the auto enhancements are generally pretty good, and are easy enough to change if need be. The OCR is excellent as well; one of the main reasons that ive stuck with Doxie for almost 10 years. Cons: -Being able to scan/save to SD card like their other products would have been a nice addition if youre not around a computer to be able to use it. -External battery; it plugs in, which is fine, but if paired with a SD slot, could make this a powerhouse if youre doing a project away from home/computer. -No Chromebook app yet; could be handy if there are no SD slots... ------- Overall, an amazing product to get if youre constantly doing multi-sided pages; this will save you COUNTLESS hours of having to turn the paper over compared to their other scanners. I will keep and use my old scanner as its more portable and can save to a SD card; but have not used it in weeks now.

> 3 dayIve been trying to go paperless at home, but there never seems to be an end to contracts, bills, invoices, etc. that still come in paper form (and I need to keep a copy of) despite all my efforts to choose electronic delivery. I had a portable scanner before but it only fed one sheet at a time and sometimes would go in crooked so I had to redo the same page over and over again. Taking pictures with my phone was just as tedious for multipage documents and trying to stitch them together. The Doxie Pro arrived with a stack of papers I needed to scan (and have been dreading). The unit was incredibly easy to set up. Not many steps and the one page of instructions were super simple. I installed the software on an M1 Mac Mini and it recognized the device without a hitch. (Nice touch that the scanner arrived with cables for both a USB A and USB C connection to the computer.) The scanner is pretty quick (especially compared to a portable scanner) and scans both sides automatically. It also took a small stack of papers (5-10 pages at a time -- I didnt have any longer documents) easily, even when those documents had a pretty significant fold in them from the mail. The scans were clear and didnt need to be adjusted or cropped. This is my second Doxie so I knew I liked the software and it continued to perform well. Many devices just dont have great Mac support and though theres nothing fancy about the Doxie software, it did reliably work and was straightforward to understand. Set up took a total of 3 minutes and going through a stack of papers, naming them, and organizing them in my online storage took another 15 minutes. I was actually looking for more papers to scan when I was done because I couldnt believe it went by so quickly. And when I was done, really easy to unplug everything and reclaim the space next to my computer. Im almost waiting for another stack of papers to pile up to scan again. :/

Greater than one weekI was looking for something to scan photos, and although this is not exclusively a photo scanner it got such good reviews I thought Id try it out. It is very easy to operate, the software is great, and customer service is excellent. For photo scanning, you can set up a custom scan profile that scans only the front of the picture (the default is to scan both sides). If you encounter any issues with the device or software, simply restarting the device seems to resolve it. For example: one time the pictures were being pulled in only part-way, but I restarted it and it completely resolved. Ive probably scanned upwards of 1,000 pictures at this point, and Im still extremely happy with the scanner. Regarding their customer service: Doxie set up a call with me to answer any questions and to get feedback on my experience. When I mentioned I was also using it to scan old newspaper clippings, they mailed me some photo sleeves (plus a gift card to thank me for my time and feedback -- Im mentioning this for full disclosure, but it didnt impact this review).
