I had never tried Dr. Bronners Liquid soap before but did so after reading the reviews . I was surprised at the different ways it could be used . Let me just say using it as a Shampoo is Invigorating for your scalp . It leaves your head tingly and feeling great . But I will say that if you Dont like your hair to have that Dry Feeling You MUST (I cant stress that enough ) Use a CONDITIONER after . If not you Girls will Not be Happy with your hair . Aside from using it as a Shampoo I read some reviewers who used it to Repeal Ants . I had a Bad case of Ants Everywhere in my house . So I decided to give Dr. Bronners a try . To my surprise it WORKED ! I sprayed Dr.Bronners all over where the Ants were and they disappeared . That was months ago and they have yet to reappear . I would say if your skeptical about trying Dr. Bronners buy the Small Bottle and try it out, its worth it . You just my be surprised at the results . Happy Shopping :O)

Day 1. Your package arrives and youre excited to try out the soap you found sitting close to the top reviewed on Amazon and cant wait to smell like a candy cane instead of a teenage locker room. You get in the shower and read the directions that say squirt a little soap into your hands with water or a wash cloth. You do that, and then you think that cant possibly be accurate so you squirt a second time to be safe. You lather and start to wash yourself, and the great scent of peppermint starts wafting up and you begin to think about how great of a purchase this was. After a few more seconds the wafting becomes an invasion of your nostrils as the peppermint grows stronger. Now your entire bathroom smells of peppermint and you realize that they did indeed mean just a small squirt in their directions. As you continue washing all your memories are only of peppermint and you begin to forget any scents you might have gathered in your lifetime. All there is now is peppermint. You finish cleaning yourself and you step out of the shower, dry off and notice the peppermint is starting to subside as the water washes the soap down the drain. Life is slowly returning to normal as you pick the clothes you decide to wear for the day and suddenly realize the peppermint scent is delicately lingering on your person as you move from room to room. You smell like a candy cane and that joy that comes from that carries you through the day. Day 2. You are now an expert at Dr. Bronners Peppermint Liquid Soap and use the recommended amount. The experience is much better and you still smell like a candy cane by the end of the shower. Best of both worlds. Day 5. You see on the bottle that theres 17 other uses for this soap mixture other than cleaning yourself and you become curious, wanting to try a few of them. You decide to clean the floors with it, diluting to the recommended amount and making your house smell of peppermint. You never knew life could smell so clean. Day 22. Your life has been taken over by the peppermint. Youve cleaned your entire house, yourself, and your dogs in this product. You begin to see things that dont smell of peppermint as not pure - you begin to not want to leave the house. All things must be pure. All things must be peppermint. Day 74. You see the bottle beginning to run out. You make sure to order 4 more bottles to last you for the unforeseeable future.

Awesome! Ive been wanting to try Doc Bronners castile soap for a while. Its really a multipurpose cleaner but my favorite use for it is as a Shampoo! It can be used straight out of the bottle BUT it works much better when diluted. Below is a great shampoo recipe - it also functions as an amazingly moisturizing body wash AND is my all time favorite NATURAL pet shampoo. My dogs fur has never been so soft and white! For dry hair, try this recipe: 1/4 cup distilled/R.O/filtered water 1/4 cup liquid Castile Soap - your favorite scent 1/4 cup aloe vera gel 1 teaspoon vegetable glycerin 1/4 teaspoon avocado oil or jojoba oil [I prefer jojoba - its most similar to natural scalp sebum] 1/4 teaspoon CASTOR OIL Flip Cap Bottles or Foaming Bottles to dispense **OPTIONAL: xanthan gum for thickening [I dont mind the liquidy texture but if you want it to feel more like regular shampoo this will do the trick! ] Mix together all the ingredients. Store in a bottle and always shake well before using. NOTE: When using the Peppermint and Tea Tree variety of this soap as a body wash, it may tingle when applied to cuts OR your nether regions[Sorry TMI!]. UPDATE! When using this as a shampoo, regular conditioner will not do one bit of good. Regular conditioner is formulated to work with conventional shampoos, which have a much lower pH than this soap. The pH is the key here. You need to be using something acidic that will balance the 8.9 pH of the soap. I like using an Apple Cider Vinegar RINSE the best. The reason your hair is thicker and heavy after using DR Bronners is because all the little cuticles on each strand of hair are standing straight out. This is what the high pH does. Lowering the pH will make these cuticles lay down nice and flat. I use 1/2Cup ACV TO 1/2Cup Water

I am 63 and have had acne since I was 12. I thought I had tried everything and resigned myself to just keeping the break outs to a minimum. Started using this product and have not had a break out since. Wish it smelled better, but the results are amazing.

Love this. Only use it when I break out. Clears up skin in 2-3 days. I don’t use moisturizer after for the first 2 nights. Skin feels dry but great in the morning.

I started using this product when someone told me that mosquitoes and bugs hate it. I shower with it every day and have not had one mosquito bite or bug bite this year. I’ve always liked Dr. Bonners products and this soap lives up to their great reputation. The scent is light enough that I can still wear my own perfume without it clashing but the mosquitoes can obviously smell it and they stay away!

It definitely gets the dirt off your body and I feel very clean after I use this. Deodorant comes off under my armpits with this soap unlike other soaps. I’ve already bought another bottle.

i use this product to bath and was my hair. I like the way it smells and you feel clean.

I wonder if people have noticed that there are other ways than alcohol and Lysol to take care of things during covid. Im glad I have a large bottle of this because it is antibacterial antifungal antibiotic. And great for not only your bodily needs but your household needs as well so if youre out there looking for something with alcohol in it remembered tea tree oil its just as good if not better :-) buy a big bottle and buy a few little bottles and just keep filling them and use them throughout the house and its a great thing for your buck and you only need a tiny drop in your loofah. No need to pour a bunch into your loofah. Just a tiny bit goes a long way and the product last a long time
