This is a good product to add highlights to watercolors or other paint. Couldnt get locally, so ordered it as had an Amazon order partially together. Not cheap, but worth it.

As a watercolor artist, it is a magnificent product to use. It takes only a small amount to make a big difference. It makes matching colors or adding lighter space so much easier than anything else I have used. Just a tiny amount mixed with paints from tubes or pans gives lovely results. Hooray. One caveat: it is opaque, so if you are after a totally transparent painting, this product will not be for you. But if just a bit of brightness is needed, this really works.

This is great for color errors in watercolor painting or just to use as white when you need a white. (Although with watercolor paintings you are supposed to leave the paper white where white is supposed to be.) BUT, that is what is so great about Bleed Proof White. If you make an error you can cover it up with this OR if you just need some thick white somewhere on the painting - it works wonders. It dries out before you finish the bottle, however, so it is important to cover it quickly after you use it. You can add water to your brush or even a drop or two to the bottle to be able to freshen it if it gets dry.

The brightest white ink i have used for calligraphy. Very good product.

Yeah, i have left the cap off my jar several times overnight and the white gets thick(er). So: next session dip your clean brush in a little fresh water and add some drops to the jar. Test out the result on your palette for thickness and opacity and away you van Gogh. i am a watercolorist with occasional oil envy because oil painters can layer and hide, the lazy cheaters ;) Well, Dr Ph White levels things but you will never be a watercolor purist if you keep using it, but i admit i have made some interesting pieces with it.

Arrived spilled and messy. Not sending back because I still can use it. Not rating its value, just packaging. Quite a bummer.

This can truly make corrections, and add white over watercolor and acrylic paint. Adding high areas if necessary without it being a thick flip on top. Good stuff.
