Greater than one weekI agree with some of the other reviews I have read. This product is very opaque, just work with the consistency. Can be used for highlights or fine white detailed lines in watercolor media & creates effects more difficult to create with white ink or white watercolo. Dr Ph Martin also offers quality calligraphy ink and hydrus watercolors which are also available at Amazon & select art stores. I think illustrators, manga artists, watercolorists would appreciate this product.

> 3 dayHaven’t used it yet, but I’m sure it will be great. I saw a watercolor artist using it on YouTube and she’s quite frugal, so she only spends $$ on what works well. That was a good enough advertisement for me!

> 3 dayDo NOT use this white! Its very thick, but when you water it down it doesnt cover. If you use it the way it comes, IT FLAKES OFF after its dry, RUINING your scroll with paint thats missing.

> 3 dayThis ink was extremely thick. While it was very opaque, I couldnt get it to work with my calligraphy nibs. Perhaps dilution is required, but there are no instructions. This rookie couldnt figure it out.

> 3 dayPerfect for adding white highlights to watercolor paintings.

> 3 dayThis was suggested by an art instructor for adding highlights in eyes and other fine details where white is required. I had tried every marker I could find and none of them worked like this does. It only takes a tiny amount to do the job, so this small jar should last a long time. Im very pleased with the results I got.

> 3 dayCovers colored pencil well - I use it for highlights (white colored pencil just doesnt work well). Its a very thick paint, thus the good coverage, but works better for very thin lines when thinned just a little with water.
