Greater than one weekI purchased BPW as it was recommended by EVERYone. I agree its a great ink for pointed pen calligraphy, once it has been watered down. I recant a small amount of BPW into a smaller container, so that its easier to get the right formulation.

> 3 dayI use this like a write out. I brush it over ink to cover up mistakes and it is more opaque than White Out.

> 3 dayThis is the whitest of whites but use it just for that. I tried mixing it with other gouache colors to get lighter tones and the paint i got flaked and fell off the painting!

> 3 dayAt first this was a wonderful product to create white areas or use for a highlighting effect, that is until it dried out. I kept the top tightly closed and maybe used it 7-8 times but on the 9th time it was like a solid brick. I thought why not add some water and see if it comes back? Bad move because it turned spiky, shard like and turned flakey. I added more water and closed it for a few days ,this time it was liquid on top but underneath was still dry. It started out great but didnt last and for $10.00 I wouldnt buy it again !!!

> 3 dayIt truly is bleed-proof, BUT its so thick it must be diluted with water to use with a calligraphy nib. Beautiful paint and vivid white.
