The actuator worked just like it should but it quit working before a year was up. I took it apart and found that the motor was completely full of water. I was under the impression that it could be used outside exposed to the elements as long as it was not submerged in water, apparently it can’t be used in the elements or I just got a poorly sealed actuator.

Product came on time very well packaged over all appearance looks sturdy not a plus grade but still good used on a snow plow for ATV to lower and angle the blade work beautifully and work great in the weather

It works great as a replacement windshield vent opener on my Sea Ray Sundancer. It is slow but that was expected. A lot less expensive than other products.

WORKS GREAT

No more going down to the barn to close the chicken coop door. Only had it up for a week, cant speak to longevity. Deducted a star ....slower than advertised. At 5.7mm/sec should take 53 seconds to close, takes a little over a minute. No big deal, but still...

Cannot lift anywhere near the weight the spec sheet claims. Does not maintain its position, it is always settling to no load. Absolute junk. I tried 4 units, all failed within a day.

Installed on my wife’s dog grooming table for height adjustment and it works great.

I built a solar tracker with 2 of these actuators. Regulated voltage, much less than 25% duty cycle (10 seconds every 10 minutes) with a perfectly balanced (125lb total weight), bearing rack. The panels can be easily moved with a single finger with less than 5 lbs pressure. One motor is shorting when moving in one direction but not the other as if the brushes are broken. These motors worked very well until it broke. Amp draw was less than 0.5a when running.. sure sounds like a build quality issue.
