> 3 dayActuators are a little loud as they slowly close. But, works great as chicken door opener/closer on a timer.

Greater than one weekI never had a chance to try this actuator. The first one I ordered was inoperative right out of the box. I checked the leads with and ohm meter and it was open circuit, applying power no movement, so I sent it back thinking it was a fluke. The second unit I received did the same, no continuity and did not work. After returning them both I ordered (from a different manufacturer) a more expensive and hopefully functional actuator from Amazon.

> 3 dayFor the price these seem very well built. Have to get a few more pieces before putting up my solar array. Tested them and they have the power I need and draw less amperage than I expected. Limit switches work, but not adjustable.

> 3 dayUsed these to lock my KUV side doors (one for each side). They are loud enough to hear them operate, but that tells me they are working and is kind of a cool factor too. Work well anb great price. If they ever fail they are cheap to replace. Love it!

Greater than one weekI ordered and received two of these LAM. Each was a 10 inch model and worked pretty well for about 1-3 months. I used them in a solar tracking array with one LAM tracking in Azymuth and the other in Elevation. The one i used for elevation tracking periodically stops working until it gets knocked lightly by something like a wrench or small hammer--which i discovered through trial and error. THe other LAM works perfectly. Of course since the array is on the roof...blah blah blah

> 3 dayFor the money spent, I cannot expect more. It is slower than I expected, but that is I not reading the specifications right. Motor is voltage dependent, so if it is on a vehicle 12v off and 14,4v running is a big difference.
