> 24 hourThe actuator worked just like it should but it quit working before a year was up. I took it apart and found that the motor was completely full of water. I was under the impression that it could be used outside exposed to the elements as long as it was not submerged in water, apparently it can’t be used in the elements or I just got a poorly sealed actuator.

> 24 hourIm sure these would be fine for light duty applications but they definitely cant lift anywhere near their max rating. I can push them in with one hand. After being disappointed with these I bought ones made by Homend and they 10x better for a few more dollars

> 24 hourI never had a chance to try this actuator. The first one I ordered was inoperative right out of the box. I checked the leads with and ohm meter and it was open circuit, applying power no movement, so I sent it back thinking it was a fluke. The second unit I received did the same, no continuity and did not work. After returning them both I ordered (from a different manufacturer) a more expensive and hopefully functional actuator from Amazon.

> 24 hourIt came on time and works when tested but cant say how good it works till later this summer when I get to use it.

> 24 hourI built a solar tracker with 2 of these actuators. Regulated voltage, much less than 25% duty cycle (10 seconds every 10 minutes) with a perfectly balanced (125lb total weight), bearing rack. The panels can be easily moved with a single finger with less than 5 lbs pressure. One motor is shorting when moving in one direction but not the other as if the brushes are broken. These motors worked very well until it broke. Amp draw was less than 0.5a when running.. sure sounds like a build quality issue.

> 24 hourThis unit is on my solar panels. They weigh 121lbs. Unit somehow ran past upper limit switch and crashed the carrier into the mount. No way to adjust and passed 30 day warranty. So Im screwed. Ill try to find something thats US made.

> 24 hourI have a 75 year old Delta drill press that Ive updated and outfitted to be highly functional. Only problem is that the table has to be manually maneuvered to adjust its height and its a PITA: it has no cranking mechanism! After some Google searching I found some using a trailer jack but most interesting solution: using something called a linear actuator! So I went for it. After some challenging backyard engineering, it works! And I added the AC/DC
