Comprehensive guide on how to get started with an Acoustic piece. Dummy books have always been good for making information comprehensive and digestible, this is no exception.

Doesnt work with windows xp and up. It kept freezing up and crashing after I tried to click on any of the lessons every time.

I found this quite useful in that it encourages me to pick up the guitar and play along to some of the tunes and it does help with getting your timing more accurate as I often find my playing speed varies when Im playing along on my own. There is a lot of variety in the songs from folk to rock and you are introduced to appropriate timing and strumming techniques in a very clear way. You can play along with the songs and then you get a virtual fretboard displayed and flashing notes to indicate where you - should be - up to; beware though the bloke who sings most of these songs has an absolutely awful voice.

Very, Very, Very GOOD!! Honestly, I learned more from this DVD than I have from a box full of DYI magazines, DVDs, running down several ghosts. I was 1/2 way through and sat back and had a think about what I just went thrght and was it worth the trouble?

Just started using this last night and am excited to move into chapter 4! Lots of features to help self-starters like me to try our hand at something new! Very easy to follow even if the playing of the instrument itself takes more finesse (I know Im just learning!)1

ATTENTION MAC USERS - Beginning with macOS 10.15 (Catalina), Apple has eliminated the option to run 32-bit apps on the Mac. If you wish to continue using our applications, which currently require 32-bit support, do not upgrade your operating system past Mac OS 10.14 (Mojave). Alternatively, you can retain an older Mac operating system on a separate drive partition. eMedia developers are currently working on software updates to support Catalina and future versions of macOS, but this is a major undertaking. eMedia is currently unable to foresee how long it will take to create these new versions. If you purchased your eMedia software on or after September 7, 2019, upon receiving proof of purchase eMedia Music will provide you with a free upgrade to a macOS 10.15 (Catalina)-compatible version of an eMedia application when it becomes available. All other registered owners of eMedia software will be qualified for discounted upgrades.
