This is the best keyboard. I dont have to modify it. I love the flamingo switches on here. I would recommend this keyboard. The colors are also very subtle but pleasing to the eyes. Im all about the volume knob. If you dont like the red, I believe they sell the gold color as well.

I really love this keyboard, and for the money its awesome. The only problem with it was that the 8 key didnt work when i swapped out the blue switches for a brown one. I tried multiple of my spare browns, all confirmed functional in other button slots, and still they wouldnt work. Not that big of a deal since it just the 8 key, wont really bother me while Im writing, so I wont be returning it or anything like that. Just evidence that the manufaturing is slightly less than flawless with this one. Overall though... Id reccommend this to a friend

Solid keyboard but the software is non existent, leads to no customization of keys etc.

The custom keyboard hobby can be very expensive, so this is a great budget board with a fairly premium feel that still gives you room to customize if you so desire. For reference, I got the 75% size TH80 Pro version of the keyboard with the Monet keycaps and Gateron Pro Yellow switches. For those new to the smaller sized keyboards, an instruction manual is provided that has a guide to setting up the wireless settings, RGB settings, and the function keys combinations for missing special keys. The switches are buttery smooth, the MDA profile keycaps feel great and may just be the best profile Ive worked on, and the knob works as expected and has some tactile feedback which is nice. The build of the board feels solid and has more weight to it than I was expecting, but also has a very thocky sound to it right out of the box that many enthusiasts strive for. The switches and stabilizers are factory lubed which you can see when removing the keycaps, and best of all, its hot swappable so youre not stuck with the keycaps and switches that you initially order. If I had any complaints, its that the stabilizers for the spacebar could probably be dampened a bit more, which some people may do with a bandage strip, but its a trivial complaint. All in all, Im very happy with the keyboard. As much as I liked the Monet MDA profile keycaps, I wanted to use my Lord of the Rings MT3 profile caps (purchased separately from Drop) on this board.

These are budget Chinese mechanical keyboards. Kind of looks like a clone of GMMK Pro. Check the OEM site before buying. Their product pictures are very honest - look at the fine details. You will see keycap blemishes and molding issues. Not sure I actually recommend these based on the QC risk but I kept mine sooo? I tried these with Flamingo (linear) and Budgerigar (tactile) switches. Budgerigars were too heavy, required too much force IMO. Felt strained typing and needing to click so hard but some people might like the super tactile feel. Flamingos feel normal, like MX Red but honestly better. Both sound really nice and pre-lubed, space bar thonks assuming you dont have QC issues with stabilizer, etc. Pros: - Price ($89.99 in Feb 2023) - Volume knob - Styling, cool color scheme, picture looks pink but its really purple - RGB controls, MacOS support, USB-C, Bluetooth or 2.4GHz wireless, battery indicator/shortcut - Weight and feel for plastic is better than expected - Function key layers, mappable keys, macros Cons: - Quality control, two different keyboards have the same defects, ENTER key is molded crooked or something, some keycaps are scratched or otherwise imperfect. Support said there is nothing they can do about defects besides refund or offer coupons - no replacement parts to fix the issues... - One keyboard had a bad spacebar stabilizer, tons of grease made it barely return up after click - Software, supports MacOS and Windows app but its kind of terrible, slow to install, Chinese software roughly translated to English. In MacOS mode, the function function keys (F1, F2, etc.) are always in function/multimedia mode with no way to disable. E.g. F10 mutes volume, even trying to re-map in their software or using Karabiner - RGB logo, its so ugly, doesnt match your set effect, wish you could turn it off (or didnt exist)

This keyboard, for the money, is an insane value. I like the tactile switches. And the key caps are perfect. I’d say that if you want something with a very custom feel and don’t want to mess with building, this is a way strong option.

Im actually writing this review using the TH80 - I hate to admit Ive recently fallen down the mechanical keyboard rabbit hole - but like most people cant justify spending more than $300 on a full custom. I currently have a K2V2 with Gat Red Pros (home) and a Newmen 96% also with Gat Red Pros (for work) My TH80 has the Gat Yellow Pro, and they sound and feel phenomenal. It definitely thocks - whereas my K2V2 is quite pingy (might improve once my PBT shint throughs from YMDK arrive, but well see). The overall build quality is great, and valley for money wise - its hard to beat. Pros: - Stock Thock - Knob - Good battery size - Bright RGBs (white backplate reflects better than black) - Stable Bluetooth connection - Solid construction Primary gripes: - With Macbooks, you cant specify to use function keys as standard keys instead of the multimedia keys - kind of annoying if you frequently use actual function keys in your workflow, this is exceptionally annoying as hitting F6 on the keyboard will actually put your Macbook in sleep mode. - With Macbooks, third party reprogramming of multimedia keys also doesnt work - so theres no workaround to not having to press the Fn key and then the F# key you want. Overall: if you mainly use Mac, its hard to beat the 2 brands of mechanical keyboards that target Mac users: Keychron and Nuphy. If you use Windows/PC, you will be very happy with this keyboard. Epomaker - please fix the inability to toggle Use F# keys as standard function keys. This is super annoying as a Mac user.

This board is amazing! I got it with their pink flamingo switches and I was blown away by how creamy and smooth they were straight out of the box. Typing on this is extremely satisfying. I swapped out the key caps to something that would match my setup better but the switches that it comes with are phenomenal. I can’t recommend this board enough.

I really enjoy typing with this keyboard and the sounds it produces is better than ASMR!
