> 3 dayI have small areas of psoriasis on both knees and both elbows. Nightly soaks in the tub do wonders to help with the itching and scales, and such soaks also help dramatically with my arthritis pain. Id been buying epsom salts from the grocery store, but theyve started selling only scented stuff and I dont like the scents they choose. (Who wants to smell like a candy cane? Or an old ladys underwear drawer?) Id bought some Dead Sea salts via Amazon in the past and they were okay but definitely overpriced. When I saw this, I figured Id give it a try. These Epsom salts are literally like none Ive ever seen before: theyre shiny, uniformly-shaped crystals versus the dull, rocky chunks from the grocery store. I dont know why, and I dont know how they do that, but theyre certainly pretty in the huge apothecary jar next to the tub where I keep them. As for how they work: theyre just as relaxing as the grocery stuff store without the nasty fake fragrance. These seem to almost be a bit effervescent, although that might be my imagination. I like them. Ive ordered them twice. I wish they had a Subscribe & Save option because, as someone who uses 2 cups in her bath every. single. night., Id certainly sign up for it.

> 3 dayI love this giant bag of Epsom salts. I just fill up a smaller container, and use that in the tub or whenever something needs to soak. I also specifically got the kind that allows you to take it orally if needed, or to be used on plants. I always feel like Im going to run out immediately even when I just opened a bag. With this big bag, now I can relax. Literally.

> 3 dayMy mom has chronic lower back pain to the point where she can’t walk around very much. She decided to take a bath with 1/2 cup of these Epsom salts, 1/2 cup of magnesium bath flakes, and then 3 drops of the Rapid Relief blend from Plant Therapy and then soaked for 20 minutes. She came out of the bathroom later with wide eyes saying that she couldn’t feel any pain in her lower back and that this was the first time in 20 years that she was pain-free!! We really were not expecting this kind of miracle!! The combination of things we put in the tub really did something spectacular, and these salts were a part of it!

Never Too Old To Learn
> 3 dayI purchased these high quality Epsom salts (magnesium sulfate crystals) after reading The Magnesium Miracle by Carolyn Dean, which I did because I read somewhere that magnesium would help arthritis pain. I started hobbling around about 6 months ago with sudden onset arthritis in my hip, and I was looking for a non-drug alternative. I feel sure that I have been magnesium-deficient all these years. I have been taking a couple of different types of oral magnesium now for the past month, and now am also taking several Epsom salts baths per week. They say not to soak for 2 hours, but I really can only take about 12 minutes, and then Im bored in the bath. Im afraid to read my Kindle in there, because I would get it wet. I also put in a generous squirt of my Dial shower gel to make the bath foamy and to soak me clean. I really feel that the arthritis pain is lessened by the the very-warm magnesium soaks, and I go to bed right after the bath. I have also started taking Melatonin to get immediately to sleep. These Epsom salts are bright white, come in a re-sealable heavy plastic bag, and mostly dissolve in the water. I put in 2 cups of Epsom salts when I start running the bath water. The bag is almost 20 pounds, so it will last a nice amount of time, but its not too heavy for me to carry from the doorway where its delivered to the bathroom. (Im in my mid-60s.) I have never really been a bath person, but these Epsom salts are really changing me. I just lay back and relax, checking the clock on the wall occasionally. Then I rinse off with a plastic container as I rinse out the tub. I tend to have dry skin, but after the magnesium bath, I dont need to use any body lotion. I take my regular showers on the in-between days. Highly recommend!

> 3 dayI love having the larger size and not having to buy it all the time. It sits under my bathroom cabinet and works perfectly.

Greater than one weekLove having a hot bath with two cups of epsom salt just before bedtime. It makes me sleep like a baby. Love this stuff, and so much easier than hauling 19 lb from the store.

> 3 dayVery happy with the quantity of this package and Amazons super fast delivery. However, this stuff is hard as a rock. I began running my bath water and cut open the bag and had my cup ready to measure out two cups thinking I could just pour it out of the bag. Oh my goodness, this stuff was a solid piece of rock hard epsom salt! Ran into the kitchen in search of an ice pick. Couldnt find one so I grabbed some scissors and proceeded to stab into the stuff to try to break off a chunk. I got a large piece loose that looked to be about the size of a cup and chucked it into my bath. On a positive note, it dissolved quickly. At least I know now that I will have to plan ahead and break a chunk off of the boulder before the bath has filled with water. I am unable to give it five stars because unless you have a chisel handy you may not be able to use this product. UPDATE: I was contacted by the San Francisco Salt Company and I have to commend them on their fabulous customer service. This is a company that values its customers. I see no reason to ever buy epsom salts from anywhere else. You now have a loyal customer and I would definitely recommend to friends and family! Thanks much!
