> 24 hourUSBタイプのSSDを使うのは初めてだったのですが、普通の「USBメモリ」より、やはり、速度が格段に速いです。 頻繁にアクセスする作業や、大規模なファイルのやり取りをする際に高速です。 外付けのポータブルハードディスクを持ち歩いていましたが、格段に小型化・高速化しました。 (ただただ、紛失が心配です。)

> 24 hourI just reviewed another thumb drive (250GB) USB 3.2 Gen2 with similar claims. I was surprised to see it faster in write than advertised but slower in read. I was still pleased enough with it to give it 4 stars. It seems that this thumb drive is exactly the same except for the brand. Both shapes are identical and so is the performance (although this one has twice the storage space). So once again, I cannot get the advertised reading speeds (I get over 330MBps in real situation, 446MNps with CrystalDiskMark)... And once again also, I get faster than advertised writing speeds (about 295MBps in real situation, 440MBps with CrystalDiskMark). All and all these speeds are great, even if not properly reported. Price is not cheap at almost $80 for a 500GB drive. I wonder if it would not be possible to buy a PCIe drive of the same size, insert it into a cheap PCIe enclosure and get maybe better results for a similar size (a bit larger...). Of course, if you prefer simplicity, this thumb drive is fine. In conclusion: 500 GB very fast drive that can fit in a tiny pocket... That is quite pleasant. With these kind of speeds, it is even possible to install a complete OS on it and operate any computer with it. I like it: 4 stars.

> 24 hour250GB Thumb drive, highly portable and an absolute ton of storage! Detected easily on my M1 Mac, easy to setup - storage transfer is really quite fast. Great way to backup to a physical/local storage device. Would be a great device for college students and working professionals alike. 5-stars!

> 24 hourこんな商品あったんですね・・・凄くよいです。 見た目も使い勝手も完全にUSBフラッシュメモリです。 軽いしUSBに刺すだけだし外部電源も必要ないです。 それなのに中身SSDなんですねえ。 容量もUSBフラッシュメモリと比べて大容量ですし、何より速度が爆速です。

> 24 hourDecent product. I have a few Espeon products and all are pretty good. For a proper 250gig (quarter of a terabyte, oof, big boy) USB 3.2 gen2 drive, the price at the time I ordered was pretty decent. CRAZY fast, and a very useable size for pretty much anything you might need.

> 24 hourFirst off, all testing in this review was done on a first generation USB 3.0 port, which is the fastest port my primary machine has, which I am sure is the case for a lot of people who may not have updated in a couple of years. The drive I got is a 500Gb model. The packaging the drive comes in is unprepossessing and basic, as is the general styling of the drive. It just appears to be a basic white USB flash drive without anything special about it, but the size is convenient and the cap fits just tight enough to not come off accidentally. I actually like the basic styling as it is more comfortable to keep in my pocket than some of the flash drives I have. When I plugged in the drive, it was immediately recognized and it does show up as an NVME drive over USB Attached SCSI Protocol (UASP). The speed the drive was recognized was a welcome change from some of the controller based USB2 drives I typically carry around with me. Upon inspection, it showed up as exactly the advertised capacity of 500Gb (using the typical hard drive math). As a test, I then proceeded to copy a large backup file from a fast NVME drive over to it and then renamed it and copied it back to the same location. The sustained write speed was around 211MB/s and the sustained read speed was around 339MB/s, which for plain USB3 is quite good (especially when considering the overhead of a Windows file copy operation). Next, I did a quick bench with CrystalDiskMark and, even on USB3, the results were quite impressive (and actually better than they advertise they will be for USB3.0). Even better, after all the testing was done, the drive was still barely warm. As a quick compatibility test, I also plugged it into a USB2 port and it worked fine. It couldnt muster over about 35MB/s transfer rates on USB2, but that is the fault of the port, not the drive. Another good point about the performance being this good on a standard USB3.0 port is that it likely means it will provided excellent performance when plugged into a Raspberry Pi 4, though I have not yet verified this (and realize getting it to boot is often a matter of luck -- but booting off SD and then running rootfs off this drive would still likely work). That, however, is a project for another day! Overall, I am very impressed with this little drive. It is essentially a basic flash drive on steroids. For the price, both the size and speed are amazing, even on legacy ports. I expect this drive to become my new go to for carrying large files around with me. I am hoping the reliability matches the performance. So far, it appears that sometimes good things actually do come in good/plain packages! Recommended.

> 24 hour見た目やサイズ感は普通のUSBメモリーみたいですが、SSDというだけあって普通のUSBメモリーよりはるかに速いです。 USB 3.2 Gen.2ポートに接続してCrystalDiskMarkを実行してみた結果下記の様になりました。 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ CrystalDiskMark 8.0.4 Shizuku Edition x64 (C) 2007-2021 hiyohiyo Crystal Dew World: crystalmark.info ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ * MB/s = 1,000,000 bytes/s [SATA/600 = 600,000,000 bytes/s] * KB = 1000 bytes, KiB = 1024 bytes [Read] SEQ 1MiB (Q= 8, T= 1): 616.994 MB/s [ 588.4 IOPS] < 13564.13 us> SEQ 1MiB (Q= 1, T= 1): 417.657 MB/s [ 398.3 IOPS] < 2508.52 us> RND 4KiB (Q= 32, T= 1): 211.652 MB/s [ 51672.9 IOPS] < 618.86 us> RND 4KiB (Q= 1, T= 1): 30.347 MB/s [ 7408.9 IOPS] < 134.73 us> [Write] SEQ 1MiB (Q= 8, T= 1): 624.775 MB/s [ 595.8 IOPS] < 13388.87 us> SEQ 1MiB (Q= 1, T= 1): 610.332 MB/s [ 582.1 IOPS] < 1716.63 us> RND 4KiB (Q= 32, T= 1): 262.485 MB/s [ 64083.3 IOPS] < 498.31 us> RND 4KiB (Q= 1, T= 1): 75.639 MB/s [ 18466.6 IOPS] < 54.00 us> Profile: Default Test: 1 GiB (x5) [F: 0% (0/466GiB)] Mode: Time: Measure 5 sec / Interval 5 sec Date: 2022/05/29 23:29:04 OS: Windows 11 Professional [10.0 Build 22000] (x64)

> 24 hourI am using this drive for extra storage for my Mac. I found that it was trivial to install, just plug and play. I tried installing and running games from this drive but found that the drive is not fast enough to enable playing the games I installed. However, the drive is more than fast enough to store files and things like that for which it is very useful.

> 24 hourThats about 500mb second. From an m.2 via USB c. If performance is the deciding factor then this drive is an excellent choice. I like the color too, it makes it easy to see.
