I bought this right after reading user reviews, luckily I was able to return a humidifier I bought at Home Depot. I placed mine right behind the AC on low fan for an hour, then the unit by itself. The room is so much cooler! I know my dog loves it.

This cooler works well, you HAVE TO find the right balance for it to be effective. Put it in front of an open window. That seems counterintuitive, but that is how it works. Experiment with how wide the window is open. We get 100+ temps here, and low humidity. That is the scenario that works for this cooler. Warm and dry. Also helpful to have a slightly open window on the ither side of the room. If you do that, and have a good water source, youll do just fine. Cools well. Cold even. It does create humidity and when it gets late, I like to dry out the house a bit. Makes the room and sometimes the whole house 20-30 degrees cooler than outside.

I was pleasantly surprised with the build quality of this cooler. I tried a different cooler from a major manufacturer last year and returned it because it leaked and the water pump didnt work correctly. This Vagkri cooler seems much better built and works so much better. While I cant say that it is quiet, it is not nearly as loud as the other unit I returned. Additionally, the Vagkri draws in air from 3 sides instead of just 1 to provide better cooling. I couldnt wait for a heat wave to try my new cooler, so even though the temperature today is only 78, I put water in it and gave it a try. The water distribution system works well and gets all the cooling/evaporative pads well saturated. Filling from the top is a plus. The air temp coming into the unit from open window behind it was 78 degrees and the humidity only 8%. After a few minutes of operation, the cooler was blowing 59 degree air into my room. Thats nearly a 20 degree difference. The low humidity is important for cooling. Im anxious to see how well the cooler does on a really warm day. I did not use the reusable frozen containers, as it is the principle of evaporation of water that creates the cooling effect, not the use of ice. Very happy with this unit so far. Its even nice looking. Dark and light gray, not white as appears in most photos.

we have this on our covered back patio and it’s very easy to set up & use. It’s easy to add water to the reservoir for the cooling part, but the fan works well without water too. Our dogs love it as well.

We bought this for our patio because it was hot. We set it up without much difficulty. Seems to be quiet and we like the rotating fan. Price is inexpensive as well.

On hot days my den always feels about 10-15 degrees hotter than the rest of the house. I set this up and the temperature dropped about 10 degrees within minutes. Makes it much more pleasant in there. It is pretty loud, but I am okay with that. Helps drown out the noise pollution from the neighbors.

Doesn’t get cold enough.

Really seems to cool the air down. It is important to also have a fresh air source or you will get very humid air. But over all, Happy with my purchase.

I highly recommend this unit. We use it to cool down the garage and it works perfectly for us.

I bought this item July 22, 2022. After a month the cooler beeps three or four times. the cooler indicator flashes and goes out, and cooler shuts off…. May a representative respond promptly to this developing issue……Thanks in advance.
