We have this in our home in Southern Utah. We have air conditioning, but the air is so dry, I was always shocking myself when I touched anything. This brings up the humidity in the house and I have not shocked myself sine we bought it. We added hook it up to a hose and never worry about re-filing !

we have this on our covered back patio and it’s very easy to set up & use. It’s easy to add water to the reservoir for the cooling part, but the fan works well without water too. Our dogs love it as well.

I hate writing reviews for the stuff I buy on Amazon but I feel the need to write about this evaporitive cooler. It was well packed and had no damage. It was very easy to get it from the box-to-working. From unpacking to working was three minutes. It holds a HUGE amount of water and it blows hard on high speed. I live in Texas where the weather over the 4th of July was over 100 degrees for the entire three days we partied. Also, the humidity was near 50% the whole time. Even with all of that, the guests (21 of them) said this feels like a full-on air conditioner. I agree! I bought two of these items and couldnt be happier. They work well, blow hard and they are very quiet. With the swing function the units cool off a huge area (500-600 ft/sq) and they carry an enormous amount of water. In three days we only needed one refill. Add ice to the water and the air gets COLD. PRO TIP: Keep the boxes and packing. In the off season the units are easy to re-box because the box design is a Lift off type and makes storage easy. Evaporative Coolers usually feel like they are blowing cool moist air at you. These units just felt like cool air with no added moisture. Buy this thing!

A few years ago, I purchased a Honeywell upright evap cooler for my great room. Its been 2 years of leaks (causing cupping on my hardwood floors), electronic glitches, and mediocre cooling effect. This VAGKRI unit is amazing. It actually cools the room, is easy to fill, hasnt leaked, the timer and remote both work well, and its relatively quiet. Highly recommend this unit for the price. My great room is about 500 sf and is primarily unshaded western exposure. I live in Denver and most afternoons, the temperature reaches mid- to upper 90s. This unit does the work to keep the room relatively comfortable where other solutions, including the crappy Honeywell, have failed.

It works very well, in dry heat of 40 ° Celsius it cools my work area quite well. in 6-7 hours of daily use in speed 3 it consumes almost 15 gallons of water, I think that with cooler temperatures the consumption will be reduced. I use this in my garage when I am working and it does a decent job. I ad a block of ice in the top and it cools the water but I wish it pushes more air volume.

Customer service is fantastic. Had a bit of trouble getting it to blow cold air at first. But someone got back to me within 30 minutes of initially reaching out and had the cooler blowing ice cold air in like 30 seconds. Would highly recommend for the price.
