Purchased two of these units to operate in our main room because its very large but instead of making it cool it makes it extremely humid and muggy and does not cool it anything lower than 76°. Units seem to operate and function OK besides the fact it will not cool anything more than 76°. We used the provided ice packs to cool the water and see if that could bring down the temperature to no avail. These units seem to make the overall atmosphere more unbearable rather than more desirable.

I was a little skeptical, because I purchased a much smaller swamp cooler before that didn’t do anything… but this one’s great! It’s big!! About the size of my big luggage, only 6-8 inches taller! But… turn it on & it cools down my place! I even had to turn it off after about an hour & a half of using it, because I got to cold! Also.. I haven’t run into any issues of water leaking or extreme condensation around the floor where it sits. Very happy with my purchase!

I purchased this cooler almost a year ago. We love it! We use it in the bedroom at night and it does a fantastic job. We never have to turn it all the way up. It’s quiet enough to sleep and it’s not Giant! Besides the great product, the customer service is fantastic. My unit developed a couple problems that led to it being unusable. I contacted customer service through the Amazon chat and they responded immediately. In less than 1-week, a band new unit showed up at my door. I will buy from them again and again. I highly recommend this company and this product.

Took the cooler out of the box and read instructions. Added the water and plugged in and the water pump never would come on.

It’s a nice unit but does not work in high humidity.

I love that this evaporator holds more water than others we looked at so we dont have to refill it that often. It is very quiet and exactly what we needed to keep our sunroom cool. Our utility bill was so high before we bought this and I am curious to see what it will be this month.

My brother lives in Fl. and does alot of camping. He swears by this thing. Says it cools down his 9 person tent beautifully!

This cooler works well, you HAVE TO find the right balance for it to be effective. Put it in front of an open window. That seems counterintuitive, but that is how it works. Experiment with how wide the window is open. We get 100+ temps here, and low humidity. That is the scenario that works for this cooler. Warm and dry. Also helpful to have a slightly open window on the ither side of the room. If you do that, and have a good water source, youll do just fine. Cools well. Cold even. It does create humidity and when it gets late, I like to dry out the house a bit. Makes the room and sometimes the whole house 20-30 degrees cooler than outside.
