I purchased this PSU to replace the stock one (250W) in my Lenovo Ideacentre 710-25ISH in order to support upgrading the GPU to a GTX1650. I had watched and read several things on PSU upgrades and determined that a higher wattage modular unit that was Gold-rated seemed to be the way to go. The EVGA units had good reviews, so I promptly ordered and installed it. The EVGA PSU fit into the rail and bolted on with no issues, and the included cables were solidly built with a good quality wire loom. The fan is super quiet and its modular cable design has allowed me to keep my case tidy. I did have to use the COMeap 24 to 10 pin adapter for my Lenovo motherboard, but that is no fault of EVGAs. My only complaint with this power supply is that the power cable for the outlet was too short, resulting in a star reduction from the review (if I could do half-stars I would). I keep my tower on a tall desk and had to buy an extension cord to bridge the gap to the power strip on the floor. All else considered though, I am extremely happy with this PSU.

Installed on new pc build after 2 weeks It makes whining sound very noticeable under load

1st one I got was d.o.a. and may have killed my motherboard(was tested with a psu tester at a computer shop), I then thought ok maybe I got bad luck. I then returned-ordered another and same thing.(this one was immediately test on a psu tester before getting put in). I will not be trying a third unit.

This PSU has everything you will need to last for many years ahead. Modular PSU, 80 Gold Certified, 750W is just what everyone in gaming needs to deliver enough power for all components. Theres no point on going beyond this.

Works great runs quiet and has an eco mode.

Lots of extra cables and good packaging. Good value.

I want to change my psu with a better certification and this psu is what I needed, also it is modular so my cable management is very easy to set up.

Excellent power supply, the modular connections made it easy to cable manage the build since I didnt have to worry about additional cables. The only suggestion would be to include the individually sleeved cables. The included ones are hard to manipulate due to the stiffness of the heat-shrink and sleeve.

so i ended up getting both this PSU and the beQuiet straight power 1000w 80+ platinum. whats odd is that with this PSU, the default ram OC settings would constantly fail, so much so that i had to manually adjust the SoC to 1.1volts instead of Auto/1v, and manually set the DRAM voltage to 1.36v, whereas the ram should be at 1.35v. these adjustments stabilized my GPU-less setup.
