Compact psu for 1kw, if you want high end psu go for it, it has inductor whine aka coil whine, i bought it since its made by seasonic and it costs less and i was sure it wont have coil whine with tester, i have seasonic psu it doesnt have any coil whine with tester and whole system, coil whine is not harmful to your system, its rather annoying to hear, so i had to returned it and will look for seasonic again.

Wisper quiet, easy install, great price and the ECO switch is a cool concept, even though I never use it. Great supply!

Extra cables and ties, im a huge fan of evga just wish they would stop putting their logo upside down on every single product... evga, more like ean3 because their psu and aio all have to go in where the logo is wrong

Its a great PSU, does everything you could want and need. However, when its fan kicks on, it is LOUD. When that fan ramps up, you can hear it from the next room over. Im very conscious on the temps in an air flow focused case. My system is entirely air cooled and with aggressive fan curves in order to keep my temps down. I do a thorough clean of my pc every month. Now with that being the case, my fans are still pretty quiet when theyre cranking while Im putting my pc through its paces. This PSU is so loud to the point its annoying/distracting. Im an EVGA fanboy, but this is to the point where i felt i needed to leave a review. Its too late for me to return it, but Im gonna be doing some research on jonnyguru(which i shouldve done) and find one to replace this. Maybe ill build an htpc where the tower isnt 2 feet from my ear. It works great, just loud. So TLDR, if noise isnt a problem, buy it. If it could be an issue, look elsewhere.

I had the 850 model and it sucked ! It get speeding the cooling fan up and down. The 1000 is a different design. It is working smooth and no issues. Pay a little more !

It works great, and I haven’t had any issues with it. I think it’s a great purchase.

First one I got did not work. Returned to Amazon and ordered another one. Some cables needed to be longer and some were too long.

only 4 stars because power cord is too short.
