> 3 dayIve been using EVGA stuff for many years, mostly the video cards. Never been disappointed. I recently ordered a new CPU liquid cooler from them, which has also been performing great. But I was getting stability issues likely due to my existing PSU not being able to handle the load, so I order the 850W unit from here.

> 3 dayI loved the form factor and design. Don’t know what happened, it seemed it was about to take off every now and then, especially when i was playing a game (Gears5). Returned.

31-03-2025This is the first time I have used a modular power supply. I feel like a lot of space is wasted with all of the connectors that go on the outside of the power supply. I have a fairly basic desktop PC and I still required all but one of the modular cables to be installed, so theres really not any sort of saving that comes from being judicious about which cables to connect. Also the cables seem excessively long and thick. I ended up filling up a drive pay with loops of unused cable to maintain air flow around the motherboard. With my previous ~2012 power supply I could easily swap it in and out, but with this one I have to disassemble a lot of the case and move some drives to the side so that I can slide the power supply in. My previous power supply was 300 w and fairly low end, and I upgraded to this one because I needed to power a GPU. This power supply works well for that, but in hindsight I dont know that I would have paid extra for a more silent fan in the power supply, because my existing CPU fan, case fan, and GPU fans are all audible and a bit of noise from the power supply probably would not have been noticeable.

Greater than one weekI got this g6 1000w for $150 and it was a great purchase. Been powering my 4090 and 13700k for a few months now without trouble, plenty of connectors and of good quality. I cant hear this thing even when Im trying to and gaming at 4k 144 fps, and it stays pretty cool. Never had a negative experience with EVGA, used them for my PSUs in the past 3 builds, and for all my GPUs in the past decade... until they stopped making them. :(

> 3 dayThis Power Supply is very good, quite silent; even on occasions where you need to cool or when the PC demands more voltage power.

> 3 dayHad and evga 750w in my first build for the last 5 years and was quiet satisfied. Got this for my new build just because I wanted a bit more power options. The unit was easy to install and the specs are great value for price. I see this lasting the test of time. Modular design was nice for cable management and it was compatible with my full length cable mod cables.

> 3 dayThe PSU was relatively easy to install. Havent found any complaints yet but Ive only had my PC built for about a month.

> 3 dayso i ended up getting both this PSU and the beQuiet straight power 1000w 80+ platinum. whats odd is that with this PSU, the default ram OC settings would constantly fail, so much so that i had to manually adjust the SoC to 1.1volts instead of Auto/1v, and manually set the DRAM voltage to 1.36v, whereas the ram should be at 1.35v. these adjustments stabilized my GPU-less setup.
