> 3 dayHas a intermittent humming noise at heavy load. I havent isolated the cause, but it could be the fan.

> 3 dayWhat can you really say about a power supply? It powers my computer... it has not exploded. It was easy to install and isnt loud. Seems legit.

> 3 dayI have read other reviews that indicated issues. What I have found with new power supplies is people dont plug them in and wait to turn on their PC. Capacitors have to charge up and if you turn on a PS before they are they can over charge and pop. There should be protection but why take a chance. Doing this simple procedure has netted me zero issues with all of my PSs. I wait 5 mins before starting my PC. This PS is powering up an MSI MEG Godlike MB, Intel 10th gen i9, RTX 2070 OX, 4th gen pci-e expansion card with 2 m.2 drives, 1 2 TB mech drive, 1 1TB ssd, 1 Castle 360EX AIO and 6 120mm rgb case fans. Plenty of power and some to spare. This combo is OCd to max and no stability issues.

> 3 dayWith the newest line pulling over 270 Watts, its advisable to get 1000w minimum to be future prone. I heard the newer 4000 series will be pulling over 300-400 watts so I think moving forward a 1000w PSU will be de-facto standard. Evgas make really good PSUs with 10 year warranty in case anything bad happens. Really recommend the SUPERNOVA line. Never had any issues with them.

> 3 dayWorks alright. The cables are high quality and long enough to easily reach anywhere in my midtower. However, whenever the CPU / GPU are under load, the power supply just starts whining like mad. My wife got the same model, and hers whines a little less than mine, but its still clearly there. Ill probably still keep it, but I guess Ill just do my gaming with headphones.

> 3 dayDO NOT BUY THIS PSU! Spend the extra $50 and get a Seasonic! I purchased this PSU in November for a new build with a 3080 and a 5900x. One month later I went on vacation for two weeks and left the PSU unplugged just to be careful. I come back and everything is working for a day or so, and then all of a sudden my CPU started malfunctioning, I got repeated crashes (straight to black screen and reboot, not BSOD)while trying to run games and I replaced practically everything in the system, only to find out that it was this piece of junk power supply that for whatever reason couldn’t handle the 700ish watt load when it’s rated for 1000W. Thankfully I was able to RMA any CPU because it fried it. I now have a Seasonic 1000W in my system and all of my issues immediately disappeared. Never buying an EVGA product again, this $200 PSU almost cost be $1000+ in parts!
