Exo Terra Terrarium Decor Primate Skull

My snake Penny loves it she uses it daily

It is good for a decoration but the inside edges are really rough and sharp and it scares me when my baby bearded dragon gets inside it because im afraid he can get cut easily because so I had to sand the edges.

It looks awesome but unfortunately I had to spend some time refining. The edges were like razors and cut me while I was trying to sand them down. The edges sand easily with fine grit sand paper, and its perfectly fine after you put the work into it.

Put this in my scorpion tank and looks perfect. Well constructed, looks natural.

This skull helps keep me from working on nonsense and focus on the important things in life. Im going to be dead in 40-60 years and this is my reminder of that fact.

I bought this for my granddaughters ball python terrarium. I have to admit it looks really cute in there with the snake crawling in and out all of the holes. He seems to like it and so does she.

This is much smaller than it looks. It is listed as Medium, but I would say it is a small. Not big enough for our juvenile female Python. Seems to be good quality, unfortunately it wont work for us. Returning it.

Its a little smaller than I expected but Im impressed with how realistic it looks.

As expected from reading previous reviews, this skull arrived sharp; And im not just talking just a few rough edges here and there, Im talking razor sharp shards around the eye sockets and every other opening that had the ability to make snake ceviche. Luckily, I was prepared to deal with this and sanded the HECK out of it for at least an hour. Im deeply disappointed in the lack of concern that went into the production of this product. I own both this skull and the buffalo (which was even sharper!) and its actually shocking Exo Terra has the audacity to sell this in the state upon arrival. Its flat out dangerous, and even snagged me a few times just handling it to sand. This deeply angers me, and I cant even begin to imagine the horror stories of pet owners (stupidly) not checking the interior and putting it straight into their enclosures. However with all that bad stuff being said, my little guy LOVES this! I would go as far to say its possibly his best friend (besides me of course!). He hangs out on it at night, and occasionally takes naps in its (surprisingly) roomy interior during the day. This would work great for arachnids or any smaller species of reptile, and if you do purchase it definitely dont use this as your primary hide, its a decoration! I know my baby ball python will 100% outgrow this, but you have to admit this looks really nice in an enclosure, especially one with lots of plants. If you do purchase this PLEASE sand it!
