> 3 dayThe Fanxiang SSD drives function as expected in terms of speed, but as it is prominently displayed in the product ad that these drives come with a 3-year warranty, my understandable expectation is that Im purchasing a device inclusive of its warranty. That is not the case. Ive purchased several of these drives, and recently one cratered completely. I spent nearly a month trying to contact Fanxiang via the limited options offered. Short of calling the one phone number provided on their website which calls China, I tried all other methods several times. I never received any communication back from the company. A 3-year warranty isnt worth anything if a customer has no way of utilizing it when needed. For all intents and purposes, there is no warranty. I mentioned this to Amazon when I called them about the situation to levy a formal complaint that all the product ads here on Amazon for Fanxiang are false and misleading. Since one pays for a drive with warranty, and obstensibly receives a drive without warranty, then either Fanxiang needs to change all their ads to remove the promise of a warranty, change their warranty model to make it actually accessible, or Amazon should take appropriate action.

> 3 daySeems to work like my other Samsung SSDs, very pleased so far. Aside from connecting the SATA cables. I had to enter disk management to initialize the drive, otherwise the drive wasnt being recognized. Then my boot priorities got messed up inexplicably, so I had to enter BIOS to remind my computer to boot from the right drive. (Which was a different drive, not this one which I had bought for storage.) Seemed pretty typical as I recall. Would buy again.

About The Details
> 3 dayCopying data over now. The path is Ethernet from a Win10 PC to Win11 PC through a WIFI router. Data rate shows as 113MB/sec, typical of other devices connected this way. I assume it is Ethernet limiting the transfer rate. Will be done in 3 hours. SATA III capability is around 550MB/sec. The mini PC had a SATA III port not a second m.2 NVME. Once data is copied over this SSD should work well. The price was nearly $40 less than some name brand SSDs.P

> 3 dayThese 512gb are replacements for the PNY 240s I have. The PNYs have been failing at around 24 months. I hesitated to get 512gb because the recovery process is much harder and most of the recovered files are corrupted. Something about the type of failure that isnt present in the older IDE drives. Chip corruption is different. Speed is OK, but backup to a solid and proven source often.
