Greater than one weekI have a 7 year old laptop that has a SATA harddrive and after I upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7, my laptop got extremely slow, to the point where it was almost unusable, simple tasks took forever. So I bought this SATA SSD and did an upgrade and it works well thus far. I did a fresh install of Windows 10 on the SSD and I removed the cdrom and put the old harddrive in a caddy that fits in the CD-ROM slot. My laptop is now alot faster and feels good as new.

Greater than one weekThe Fanxiang SSD drives function as expected in terms of speed, but as it is prominently displayed in the product ad that these drives come with a 3-year warranty, my understandable expectation is that Im purchasing a device inclusive of its warranty. That is not the case. Ive purchased several of these drives, and recently one cratered completely. I spent nearly a month trying to contact Fanxiang via the limited options offered. Short of calling the one phone number provided on their website which calls China, I tried all other methods several times. I never received any communication back from the company. A 3-year warranty isnt worth anything if a customer has no way of utilizing it when needed. For all intents and purposes, there is no warranty. I mentioned this to Amazon when I called them about the situation to levy a formal complaint that all the product ads here on Amazon for Fanxiang are false and misleading. Since one pays for a drive with warranty, and obstensibly receives a drive without warranty, then either Fanxiang needs to change all their ads to remove the promise of a warranty, change their warranty model to make it actually accessible, or Amazon should take appropriate action.

> 3 daySeems to work like my other Samsung SSDs, very pleased so far. Aside from connecting the SATA cables. I had to enter disk management to initialize the drive, otherwise the drive wasnt being recognized. Then my boot priorities got messed up inexplicably, so I had to enter BIOS to remind my computer to boot from the right drive. (Which was a different drive, not this one which I had bought for storage.) Seemed pretty typical as I recall. Would buy again.

> 3 dayI swapped my old hdd for this ssd. My PC boots up in 30 second compared to 2 minutes. For the low cost, the fact this is a fully working 1tb ssd is something Im amazed by. Would totally recommend.

> 3 dayThe product was much lighter than my OCZ drives but I guess that makes sense for the era. Installed one in an Optiplex 790 configured for Hauptwerk. Cut boot time from 2:45 to 1:05 which includes loading Hauptwerk. Performance was significantly improved. Benchmarks were in the claimed range bearing in mind that this is a 10yr old mini PC. The second was in a Lenovo S30, RAID, 32Gig RAM, Nvidia Quatro, Xeon. Performed better in this system the old HDD drives just were not cutting it, but this SSD solved the latency issues. Good job!
