FastCap PSSR16 16 FastPad Standard Reverse Measuring Tape

The strength of the recoil is amazing. The casing is sturdy, the size is very comfortable (for my medium hands), and the dimensions allow it to clip-on to more areas around my belt without obstructing access to the pouches around it. Thats a big deal for me. Also, that added footing (?) around the opening allows it to rest nicely on the edge of a board while keeping the tape flat. I dont think thats obvious in the (poor) product photos. If I had to be critical I would say itd be nice to have a longer, belt clip toggle. My thumb hunts for it sometimes. Also, I dont think the rewriteable surface is a plus since painters tape slapped on the top workes better, but its still a nice addition. Finally, I thought pencil sharper was gimmicky at first until I used it. They clearly didnt go cheap on that as it works great.

This is a great tape, it had a pencil sharpener which is very handy.

I’ve tried many tapes. Like this best of any I’ve ever owned. East to read, sharpener and note spot etc. Great tool.

I love this tape. It’s awesome

I love these tapes, and will continue to buy them. I wish there was a way to do something with how the tape retracts. I like that these never get to the point that you have to push them in, like Stanley tapes, but it retracts so strong that it actually broke the little brake button off. It has, on numerous occasions completely flipped out of my hand, when it retracted, and seems like it is going to take my finger off! Small gripe, though, for a great tape that I use every day.

I am absolutely bummed that it took me so long to buy some of these. I use them in my hobby wood shop. The accuracy is great but how easy it is to read them is PHENOMENAL!

So far, really like this tape. Easy to read and super accurate. I compared it to my Starrett rule and it is spot on!
