Im retired and build furniture on a daily basis. I have always used 25 rules but had an issue with the size and weight. This smaller ruler is perfect and all I need. Love how the clip works and love how you can read the marking on the ruler. The markings are labeled with fractions so theres no more counting and guessing. Should have done this years ago. The ruler fits on my shop apron good and it not too heavy. Its easy to read, easy to carry and is very convenient - no more looking for my rule (as long as I dont lay it down - habits are hard to break) I also like how you can jot down measurements on the side.

I do carpentry for a living and having the sharpener on you and findable is a huge time saver and improves your time efficiency and scribe line accuracy. No more shaving pencils with your utility knife which may or may not be sharp. Now the the tape, its nice modest size , clean and easy roll back into the tape, good stand out, and feels as good in hand as any better quality tape. Oh, the clip on the back of the tape has a thumb tab that allows you to open clip for easier slide over your belt or pouch rim. Over all, its a well thought out tool, accurate, easy to read, sharpener on board, not bulky and better clip than any I have used.

I have used these tapes for years I love them. My first couple lasted forever that I bought from Rutlands. The sharpners die after a week or two. However this tape died last week it wouldn’t retract and then ejected the whole tape from the body. I hope this is a one off and have ordered another one. They are invaluable as a set builder working off of American drawings.

I find the numbers a bit cluttered. Harder to read, but the note board is handy, but find the tension a bit too strong.
