> 3 dayThis is my second fastCap, I got the flat tape version and loved it so I purchased this one as well. Just as good, my go to tapes from now on. Going to get the metric one as well now.

> 3 dayOverall, I like the design and the 1/16 markings (makes doing fraction math so much easier!). However, the product isnt well-assembled and I dont expect it to last long.

> 3 dayI bought this at the local woodworkers place because the pic here looks questionable. After handing it i bought it immediately. The measurements can be read by a right handed person right side up which is surprisingly rare in tape measures. The tapeand body feels great. The locking mechanism works, and the blank white spot isa cool idea for writing measurements although i have never used it. I like the auto lock on the komelon better, but everything else on this tape is great, especially having the numbers printed correct side up on the tape.

> 3 dayThese tapes, like the other Fast Cap tapes offer a lot of nice features but their quailty control stinks. Despite that, I still keep buying them. The durability of this as with most tools is a result of how they are used. Ive not had any blade breakage issues, but the clips do tend to wear out and break off. Not a big deal if you keep it in your pouch. The pencil sharpener is a great feature as is the write on pad. I use the flat tape quite a bit and the lefty/righty is one of my favorites. I rarely need a jumbo 30 tape with a 10 standout, (thats what lasers were made for) so this 16 footer works well for me and fits in my pouch, and hand nicely. I have found some of them to be 1/16th off, but I can work with that. In fact if you compare a Stanley to a Lufkin to a Starrett to a Berger etc, none will match up exactly to each other. All in all, a nice tape at a good price.

> 3 dayThese are the best they’re accurate easy to read both ways. There’s a finger button to hold the tape out on the bottom as well as the traditional lock. The side can be written on and easily (but not accidentally) written on so no more getting cuts confused. The clip is great it’s got a finger tab so if your an apron person or wear a small belt the tape can easily be fit in an edge or fabric hold. Also a pencil sharpener but I use mechanical so it’s just a pencil stand for me. Even that helps me always locate one of the millions of pencils I lose every week
