FastCap PSSR16 16 FastPad Standard Reverse Measuring Tape

This is a nice tape. I like it an its spot on with my stanley fatmax tapes and starret tapes. So that is a plus. The only thing I dont like about the measuring tape is that the spring that retracts the tape is so strong that you have to be careful not to retract the tape to fast otherwise you can hurt yourself or knock the measuring tape right out of your hands. A strong retraction spring may not be a problem for some. Some people may love it, but on this particular tape. I dont like it so much. Its a 16 foot tape. Its to small for a retraction spring that strong. Now if it was a big 25 or 35 foot measuring tape then great, but not a 16 foot. Anyway all an all this is a great tape. Personally I still like the stanley fatmax tapes better but this will is nice.

Pretty good but Im disappointed that it retracts by itself after only having it a short time.

Have a couple more of this tape measures and they perform all the time.

Some things are just good. This is one of them. Strongly recommend it.

Solid and sturdy, easy to read, great markings and I liked the white circle; I cut a logo for my company on the Cricut and slapped it on there, no confusion as to whose it is. Also the best clip Ive seen.

My son is left-handed, so the ability to read from both sides is a plus. I prefer the clearly labeled fractions on the tape. We measured it against our Woodpecker measuring sticks and it is accurate. I bought the 25 version. too.

Great tape

I really thought I would love this tape. I saw it reviewed in a home improvement magazine and knew I had to have it, so I ordered it immediately. When I received the first one I realized Id made a mistake and ordered the metric version, oh well, my bad. After receiving the imperial version I hade a project lined up to replace my front door. Im replacing just the slab, so accurate measurements are crucial to line up the hinges for proper install. After using this tape for my project, I really like it. I ordered th 16 version and it fits well in my hand, the clip is nice with the way it operates and the markings on the tape are excellent. I would of rated it 5 stars except the built in pencil sharpener is useless, every pencil I try to sharpen breaks the lead when I get to the point of a fine tip, a fine tip is imperative for tight tolerance work.

I like this tape! Helped me a lot. Would buy again for sure. May use it as a gift to some of my friends.

One of the best tape measures I have ever owned. Most tape measures are made for left handed people for some reason. This one works equally well in either hand. Nice to have the pencil sharpener too. My wife loves the clip because it wont shred my pockets like standard clips.
