> 24 hourThese are by far the smoothest blades I’ve used. They’re relatively pricy, but well worth the extra cost

> 24 hourAn excellent product from the best blade company out there. My only complaint is that these are not the Feather NEW Hi-Stainless blades, but rather the older (Regular) Hi-Stainless blades. New Hi-Stainless are as pictured, but as my picture shows, they send a different, albeit still excellent, product. Lost one star for the bait-and-switch, but the product itself gets 5 stars from me.

> 24 hourGreat product and price. These are pretty aggressive blades. I use them in rotation with other blades; one blade per day.

> 24 hourIf youre just getting into double-edged shaving, then I suggest you pick up a pack of Derby Extras. If youve been shaving double-edged for more than 2 weeks without slicing your face open (LOL), then these are the blades to get. Ill never use anything but Feathers.

> 24 hourI purchased a sample pack of razors prior to purchasing these. In my opinion, no other DE razor blade will give a closer shave if you are using the feather razor handle. Using feather blades properly requires a light touch, and I wouldnt recommend them to start. I recommend Derby extra as a starter blade for their price and tendency to forgive aggressive pressure/angles. After you get used to shaving with the Derby Extra razors, the Feather blades are well worth the additional cost. I use one pass across my face, and Im done, and all of the hairs come off cleanly. Rather than use an expensive shaving lather soap, I found that Dr. Bronners eucalyptus bar soap will foam adequately if rubbed vigorously between your hands. It leaves behind a pleasant feel and aroma. I purchased a sample pack of razors a while back, and my opinions are as follows. Mercur razors are fantastic; on par with Feather, but they are difficult to find at a decent price and volume. Derby Extras are good for their price, and I found them to be more forgiving, but they didnt give as close of a shave. I consider the Derby Extra to be a good starter blade. Both the Sharp, and Wilkinson Sword produced a good shave, but irritated the skin. Trig blades were OK for only one or two uses. Bic blades were mediocre blades that seemed to last a while. 7AM durablade was also nothing special. Dorco was the absolute worst, and after giving three Dorco blades a try, the other 7 went straight to the trash.
