Greater than one weeki talked to a guy at one of those fancy shave shops about what to get. he recommended these, though they didnt sell them in the shop. the only blades they had there were 4 or 5 times more than i payed for these. the package was sent from Thailand and took about two weeks to arrive. the shave is pretty good but the blades dont last long. i have to replace them after three shaves, otherwise im a bloody mess.

Greater than one weekThese are still the best deal around for a double edge safety razor. I have crazy sensitive skin, and the sharpest edge possible on these razors helps a ton. Smooth shaves every time. They don’t last as long as some other brands I’ve used, such as Muehle out of Germany. But the platinum sharpness is second to none. Great blades.

> 3 dayFeather blades often come up as the best in many forums and reviews. Many people recommend trying different brands before choosing the one that suits you best, so I did. I tried Merkur, Lord, Asco, and Feather. For me, Feather is the sharpest and the longest lasting, and provides the best shave. Everything about them seems high quality - the blade itself, the wrapper, the dispencer and the transparent plastic wrap. I use Feather blades in Merkur 180 and in the Merkur Futur. The blade is quite sharp, but with the Futur with the adjustment set to 3, it is difficult to cut oneself. I have to be more careful with the 180, though. The downside is that these blades seem to be the most expensive. I looked for other options and was able to find a good deal (30 cents per) for a bulk package, but the shipping is from abroad.
