> 24 hourI can’t believe it, but these FH-7’s beat my Sennheiser HD660-S full size headphones hands down. Never have I heard such clean separation of instruments like this before, and I’m just using them as they came out of the box. The FH-7’s also put my Grado’s to shame. SO glad I bought these!

> 24 hourThis has been a hard review to write as my feeling on the product have changed drastically over the time that I have had with these iems. When I first took the out of the box I was blown away by the build quality and feel of these iems. They felt great in the ear and the cord had a lovely braided cabling that was not prone to tangle. So my first impression was all stars and roses as I perused the vast array of ear tips and filters to try out. I left the filter in the default setup and selected the bass tips from the box and set out for my first journey with these iems. It was an unpleasant journey with the overly bright sounds crushing my hopes for the sound of my dreams. This was not just a brightness and harshness but an emphasis on sibilance even at low volumes that bordered on painful. To top this all off the bass was missing from the equation and any attempt to pump up the volume to bring up the levels crashed back into the sibilance problem. So I endeavoured to try the filters everyone was raving about, maybe this would be my golden ticket. So out went the default filter and in went the bass filter in hopes of finding the bass but instead just found more of the same.

> 24 hourBest audio quality of any earbuds or headphones I’ve ever used, and I’ve been a wannabe audiophile for the past 30-years.

> 24 hourI purchased these Fiio FH7 IEMs at the same time that I also purchased the flagship Fiio M11 Digital Audio Player. As I believe that this setup is a match made in heaven, I will be combining the reviews for both at the same time. If you are looking at one of these items, you should also be considering the other as the qualities of one also apply to the other. I have experience with several flagship (for a little while anyway, A&K comes out with a new flagship every 6 months :/) IEMs and DAPs, some more than 5 times or more the cost of these, and IMHO these IEMs and the DAP not only compete, in most cases they actually WIN even when not normalizing for cost.

> 24 hourI received a used product from the seller Kaspien. Im extremely disappointed. Who knew you could buy a brand new item and get a used and nasty earwax/dirty product. I tried it with my Ifi hip dac and luckily I have my own tips. I enjoyed the sound signature. Sad that i couldnt try all the tips it came with.. wouldnt want to use tips someone else had...and left dirty! Sadly this is unacceptable and will be returning the item. My faith in amazon is waning. I dont think I will purchase these from another seller on amazon either.

> 24 hourComing from AKG N40, DUNU 2000J, DUNU Falcon C. Paired with Fiio X7MkI and AM3. Very enjoyable bass, highs are not so hot, like in Dunu2000j, more tamed, but better than AKGs. Using JVC Spiral Dots ML and Azla sednaearfit M as eartips. Very comfortable sitting in ears. Using the HF filter, BTW.
