> 3 dayInstalled fine. Doesn’t adhere well on the right side even though it was thoroughly clean and obstruction free. Also cracked within 3 days when my son plopped it on the floor a little roughly (face up) - it was in a durable case and had a glass screen protector on it. No cracks on the screen protector, but this screen cracked beneath it. Not very happy or impressed overall, but at least the iPad is usable again - for now.

> 3 dayJust what I needed watched a couple of YouTube videos on the process made the swap no problem. The home button does feel a bit cheaper than the original.

> 3 dayInstructions were straightforward. Installed in less than an hour. Home button stopped working after a month of use. There is workarounds but frustrating that I’ll have to go trough the whole process again. this is my second unit to install on my ipad with the same results. Fool me twice, shame on me.

> 3 dayQuality product and tools. Love the magnetic screw driver, pry tool, and tweezers. The only thing that was missing was adhesive 2 sided tape/strips. The lack of adhesive tape is the ONLY reason Im not giving 5 stars. The screen did have some very weak adhesive preapplied but thankfully I had some extra adhesive left over from another project. Tips: Use a heat gun or hair dryer to heat the edges of the screen you are removing. This makes the project much easier. Make sure you dont touch the LCD screen with you fingers. Cleaning the LCD before assembly is very important even if you dont touch it. Before gluing the glass screen in place power on the unit. 2 reasons. To make sure everything still works, and to make sure the LCD is completely clean. If the unit will not power up try disconnecting the battery and reseating it then try to power up again.

> 3 dayAt first I was sckeptical to even try this since Ive never changed a screen on anything. Im a mom so it was risky. The hardest part was getting my old screen off(it took slot of heating up with my blow dryer) but after that I was just careful to not loose the screws, it was 5 that I had to take out. Took me a good 3-4 hours but I was so happy with the results . My iPad looks great and works great too.

> 3 dayHooked up digitizer with no issues. After testing it I proceeded to try and close it permanently. The ribbon connectors are too stiff and close to the edge of digitizer and dont allow it to seal properly. Tried several times to close it with no success and on last attempt ribbon developed a flaw. Left digitizer unresponsive on one row.

06-04-2025The glass cracked after 15 minutes. I took the original glass from the iPad and test bend it to see if it is as brittle but the original was very flexible. I was careless and broke the flex cable when I opened the iPad to replace the audio jack. I bought the new glass to replace myself but after 15 minutes of use, the glass cracked.
