> 3 dayBlue ortofon is a little light in the low frequencies. Bought for my daughter who wanted to upgrade to something substantial.

> 3 daySet up is a breeze. Hooked up the TT base with power, RCA cables and ground wire. Added some anti noise ferrite core to the RCA cables. Like the ground wire with copper contact. Very good RCA cables out of the box. Next level the platform, very easy with the leveler that came with it. Then add the motor cover and then the acrylic platter and the belt. Add the cartridge and balancing weight and then balance the stylus force to 1.8g. Then I checked the alignment and Azimuth and both are right on the button. Set the anti skate to match the 1.8g. Finally add the dust cover. Use Dire Straight album for test. Clean, beautiful, detailed music came out of the Heresy pushed by Emotiva TA-100 using internal phono pre-amp. Well worth the money! Can’t wait to put my other cartilage on it and see what it can do!

Greater than one weekIve been building my dream sound system since I was 14. Im now 69. My first quality turntable was a Technics, Direct Drive, Fully Automatic. Although it was expensive, I never skimped on guitars, amps, or stereo equipment. Back then, no cartridge or stylus came with the turntable. So I bought a Stanton EEE cartridge. After 50 years of non-stop use, she stopped working.

> 3 dayI am convinced that this is THE best turntable you can buy for under $1500. It is absolutely incredible, and an incredible value. Im glad I talked myself into the rt85 over the rt81.
