My first turntable, so Im nobody to listen to really... but no complaints here! Was easy to set up and has been working perfectly.

Definitely recommend this turntable. I believe it is probably the best turntable under $1000. So easy to set up. Sounds amazing. I mean the stylus on this turntable alone is worth half the price of the turntable and you get an acrylic platter.

Bought this after reading several reviews and I am not disappointed. Finally able to listen to my old record collection again. Noticeable difference in sound quality over my old 1980;s Kenwood turntable. I paired it with a decent pre-amp and I think many of my old records sound better than ever. Set up was easy but you need to take your time and do it right.

We’ve had records kicking around for 35yrs. which was the last time I listened to a record. Everything is new to me again but this is the piece I decided centre my new system around after lots of reading & Utube. I thought about starting at one of their lower models but after doing the math, the RT85 was the way to go. There is a some assembly required but it is pretty easy. Everything went together smoothly and this thing is simple, solid and sounds great. Doesn’t have all those novelty gimmicks, but I like it that way, less to go wrong. Just the features I want (KISS) and it sounds great with the premium stylist cartridge.

This turntable far exceeded my expectations. Im listening to my 40-50 year old records and it feels as if Im listening to them for the first time all over again due to the amazing sound quality.

After a lot of research of the available turntables on Amazon, I decided upon the Fluance RT85. The most attractive feature was the price and it came fitted with the Ortofon Blue MM cartridge, a cartridge with an excellent reputation and an acrylic platter.

The RT85 is the best turntable I have ever owned. It sounds fantastic! The Ortofon Blue cartridge and stylus are superb. I spent an extra hundred and bought an Ortofon Red stylus that is interchangeable with the Blue. I wanted something to use on records that are not in the best condition without ruining my Blue, which is around $200 to replace.

When we first decided to get back into vinyl we didnt want to spend allot of money so we bought a Fluance RT81. After a year we just felt something was missing. What was missing was the RT85! Its like hearing sounds from an album that you have never heard before! I dont claim to be an audiophile, not so sure I want to, but for the money the RT85 is worth every dollar.
