> 24 hourAfter being a diagnostic Technician for 50 years, I can tell that, if you need any sort of electrical meter or accessory, you cant do better than Fluke, and this unit is no exception....Works as well as my 5 other meters, but the wireless display is priceless! (well okay $300 is a price). I work mostly on cars and trucks, and setting up the tester and leads on end of the vehicle, while i sit in the drivers seat with the display and work switchs cant be beat.

> 24 hourThe meter and its features are great, I used it at home a few times and use it at work repairing cars. I have had this meter 2 years now, its held up very well, but after today its GONE, I traded it in and bought a Fluke 88. I am sick and tired of having to pull and install the batteries each time I use the meter! You have to remove the batteries from the meter and display after using meter or they will be dead in a day or 2, even if you use the meter regularly, the batteries dont last. its a shame.... Sounds petty, just swap batteries and save money from getting a new meter, but Ive had it.

> 24 hourI am a ASE master Tech and I love this meter. I have had it now for about a year and it gets used every day and I am still using the original batteries. Some have reviews that say the batteries leak and destroy the meter, but I only put the BEST batteries on the market in this meter so I hope I do not ever have that problem. Also I was very weary about buying this meter because of so many people say that it has a battery draw issue on the batterys but again I have never experienced this.

> 24 hourWhat a pain. To save the batteries, youre suppose to remove them from the meter. REALLY?? Worst product from Fluke Ive ever bought! This product would be great, except for the stupid draining of the batteries.

> 24 hourThis is the best DMM that I have used to date. I use it multiple times a day. The removable display is great when working on cars or when needing both your hand elsewhere.

> 24 hourThis meter is great ! Has a lot of features that are very helpful. One of them is a detachable screen the other is a backlit display ! I find both of theses features very worth the purchase! I find it interesting about the battery comments.... Ay time you have something that is transmitting signals to another device its going to take power... Ive had other meters batteries last a few months, not a big deal ! These batteries are 10 times easier to get to than other meters i have used. i hate having to find a tiny screwdriver to take the cover off to change the 9v .The other nice thing is the batteries are AA not 9v much cheaper and easier to come by.. If you get desperate you could always take one out of the tv remote.

> 24 hourIt seems whenever I need this meter and turn it on , the screen is dead! I have to replace the batteries again! This thing is a piece of crap! There is not enought warning when the batteries need replacement and it always drains the batteries even when off (due to the wireless feature). The microscopic figure on how to place the batteries is too small. Ive had to replace these batteries at least 3X a year! Im sticking to my old 87 model. At least that one last 1 year w/o battery replacement. The 233 model remote feature is nice when you need it, by I cannot trust this meter to function when I need it out in the field!
