FunkAway Odor Eliminating Beads, 12 oz, Supercharged Odor Absorbing Beads for the House, Car or Gym, Eliminate Smoke, Pet and Bathroom Odors for Long-Lasting Results

This is just a preliminary review based on unboxing. I will update in a few days. I have read reviews talking about how poorly this product is packaged. I believe them. I got this with two other items that were wrapped in bubble wrap so it survived the trip. This item is tossed into just a thin baggy with no closure. Had it been the only item in there, I am sure there would have been a mess. As it was, I relieved it of its useless baggy and when I attempted to unscrew lid, those jellies went flying. I can tell you that the inner seal (yellow layer) was in no way sealed to the jar rim and I had to dig it out with a knife blade from the jar lid to get to the perforated top. Several jellies went behind furniture in that initial unscrewing, probably to never be seen again. These things disintegrate into your fingers even when you attempt to retrieve them. There is very little scent so far, what little I can detect is quite pleasant and refreshing. Advice for now, order with some things that have good packaging material. AND OPEN IT in a confined area, maybe over a sink. Because when you unscrew the top lid, those babies are jumping jelly beans, be prepared to pry the yellow seal out of the jar lid so that you can get to the screen lid in between that yellow seal and outer jar lid.

It smells great but the lid came off while being shipped. I guess I should give the Amazon guy a break and stop ordering stuff if items are going to show up like this. Debating on whether to repair this with the leaky bag or ask for a return. (EDIT). So I decided to keep it rather than waste it. Wear gloves when you put the balls back in the container. The stuff is hard to wash off your hands. It smells really nice and is working well with odor control. I might order it again.

We have an odd scent under our sink. So we decided to give this a shot and yup the scent was gone in a day but the smell of the deodorizer is pretty clean! I will be buy another soon!

I put this on the kitchen counter to help with cooking smells while we wait for our range hood to be installed. By no means is this fast acting like a spray, but I dont want to use a spray odor eliminator around food. Its moderately perfume-y but not overpowering. You smell the scent more when you give it a little shake. I would love to find an odor eliminator that didnt ADD smells. My husband is prone to migraines and smells make them worse, which is why I got this to try. I like the colors of the beads, they arent garish and look nice on the counter without screaming Im here to eliminate smells!, as long as you turn the label away. When the beads have all been used up, there remained some liquid at the bottom with some tiny beads left. It was as if at some point, most of them just liquified near the end, and it didnt seem to be working any longer so I threw that out with the container. Probably it would be better suited for a small bedroom/dorm room or bathroom, rather than kitchen/dining area.

Love this! Since putting it on the shelf next to the litter box I haven’t smelled the litter anymore

I would not buy this again. I could not smell anything unless I shook the darn thing.

From the first time of opening the jar up I have loved the way the fragrance smells, its not too strong but not too light either. Most odor killers that are too strong I cant be in the same room as. Not funk away, it smells fresh even when Im sitting right by it.

I put this beneath my desk at work. Instead of getting the occasional whiff of something questionable, I get a whiff of this pleasant FunkAway. It doesn’t seem to have a big reach, I only sometimes smell it beneath my desk (I’m in a large cube area, so it’s not an enclosed space) but it works for what I want. It also is NOT SOAPY. I don’t like soapy smelling air fresheners, but this doesn’t have that unsavory odor.

I bought a few of these after reading one particular review about how it removed bad odor from a teens bedroom. The beads smell really good but they dont do much remove odor. I have one room in my home that has a stale funk and I cant find the source of the odor. No mold, no dirt so why does it stink? This item does nothing at all in that room. I also have one upstairs near the cat litter box. I scoop daily but this doesnt begin to handle cat box odor. And its right next to the box. The beads are lasting a long time but I cant see where they are doing anything to remove stale household odors. Opening windows does a better job.

Worked amazing to keep the stink completely away in our master bathroom which also has the kitty litter pan. This is a tiny room maybe 4ft x 4ft. It has been working great for months
