FURminator deShedding Tool for Medium/Large Cats, Short Hair, Removes Loose Hair from Shedding

The Furminator certainly gets a lot of undercoat off your cat, but it doesnt necessarily do any better than a lot of other (cheaper) combs. Also, when you use it, there ends up being a lot of loose hair that remains on the top of your cat and not in the brush. You have to make the extra effort to gather these free floating hairs, otherwise the second your cat walks away, these fall off and end up in your house, completely defeating the purpose (i.e. the brush makes it even easier for your cat to shed).

Doesn’t really grab as much hair as you expect. I have a medium hair and a short hair cat. To be friends, but I’m not really that impressed with this tool. After one stroke, maybe two strokes is when you would have to empty the tool. It takes forever and it is not time, saving it all.

I dont think I really need to explain myself on this one, this product has always been top notch. I have tried so many different types of de-shedding brushes for my pets and none has worked as good as this brand. If you are tired of wasting your money on crappy brushes for your pets I encourage you to buy this one, it is life changing in my opinion

I was skeptical, but warmer weather had my poor pet shedding so bad. I was willing to try it. Mind you we regularly brush. The typical brush can’t do what this does at all. It’s a pet owner need for sure. Thank us later.

Love this! I am not one to do reviews but this deserves one. Best cat brush ever. Best to use outside if possible as you will get TONS of hair off your cat in just a few brushes. Best product ever for my cat.

Fits nicely in my hand. My cat loves it. And it seems already in this first week we have been able to take off enough extra fur to make another cat!!! ha ha ha

This brush seriously does exactly what is advertised. We have two cats that are shedding a lot because it’s summer, and it’s driving us crazy. This brush immediately took off all the loose hair that other brushes could not get. It’s crazy how effective this brush is. Our cats also love it, its not too scratchy for them at all!

It’s like a dethatcher for cats. My cat loves it and so do I.

This does a very nice job removing loose fur on my cat. At first, she liked it, but lately, shes not been a fan. Perhaps she sensed it was helping me so she has revolted. It is easy to clean and works great if you can get your pet to hold still. Even drive-by passes work - it just takes longer.
