> 3 dayProduct is sound, so far. Extremely grateful this is a ruggedized hard drive though. Amazon literally slapped a label on the original packaging and shipped it.

> 3 dayOn my 2018 MacBook Pro I experience slow transfer speeds, even when connected directly to my MacBook’s thunderbolt port (and not a Hub). On several occasions, I’ve plugged the drive in and the data on the drive doesn’t show up. Using repair drive wouldn’t help and I would need to erase and reformat the drive. I can’t rely on this drive for long term storage and would not purchase again.

Greater than one weekNot happy with this product and I’ll tell you why. I bought this for my BF and he says that it is so far unreliable, meaning it’s crashed on him 3 times and almost lost all his footage, it would not mount after ejecting even though he ran diagnostics on it within his Mac . Amazon just sent him a replacement hard drive and he will transfer all of his footage to the new one with hopes of a better experience. I will update this review based on the outcome. FYI he has had it for only a month and so has had this problem occur 3 times already.

> 3 dayI’m not too happy so far with the product I purchased, although it was a valuable and necessary purchase for me. I was thinking it would be simple, I can simply hook it up to my computer and began saving data but that hasn’t been the case! For whatever reason I have not been able to connect to my computer with it, so at the moment I am having a hard time getting everything together.

> 3 dayAs a rugged spinning drive, this is the one to get. It is cheaper than the Lacie Rugged drives and also has a better sustained read/write speed. I transferred data over 7 hours and the write speed never dipped from about 110mb/s.
