> 3 dayJust as advertised. Had 2 bad experiences with WD Passport drives - both corrupted and ruined my life for 2 weeks trying to bring them back. Bought a G-Drive instead and it works perfectly.

> 3 dayNeeded a sturdy drive with a lot of space and in these front this drive succeeded. It’s very fast once connected and transfers are quick. My only issue with it is that sometimes it takes a while for the computer to recognize it. It’s happened a lot and it can be a bit frustrating. Tried it on a couple of my computers and it happened on all of them (MAC and Windows). Don’t really know what it is but just something to look out for. Other than that, great option!

04-06-2025Have used Lacie drives primarily but bought this one to see how it compares and it went out within a year. They will send you a replacement, which is refurbished and do not cover any data recovery. Find something else!

> 3 dayAs a rugged spinning drive, this is the one to get. It is cheaper than the Lacie Rugged drives and also has a better sustained read/write speed. I transferred data over 7 hours and the write speed never dipped from about 110mb/s.

> 3 dayI have no complaints and I would buy it again. I already had the G Tech 2tb which has been a gem for two years. This one promises to be just as good and I hope it will prove as reliable.
